Ha! Looks like Edward didn't stop at 3 beers.  Did he go to see Newton while he was drunk and end up punching his lights out?  Well, at least it's got Bella's attention.  I wonder how she'll react.  If she's still being a complete twonk, then I guess she'll just leave him to sort it out and get on with buying her condo, pretending he means nothing to her and she can do everything on her own.  She says she's pissed off with him for lying (if only be omission) but he did explain that he panicked.  Can't she find it in her heart to at least talk to the man, for crying out loud.  Okay, she's hormonal, I get that, but she can't just ignore how she feels about him or the fact that he is the father of her baby and there's just no way of avoiding him in the future.  Get a grip, Bella - you know he's the best thing that's ever happened to you, so stop being so self-righteous and give the guy a break - we know you will in the end!  Ooh, I can't wait for EPOV.

Well, he really is a complete ass!

Really, really lol? Alienating the father of your child, just because you have person issues with him, is what's best for the baby?

This girl needs serious help. Can she not see that her shit stinks too? I mean... sure, Edward isn't perfect. But good god, neither is she. She is making bad decisions left and right. Selfish, irrational, hurtful decisions. The only difference is, no one is holding them against her and putting her through hell for them... like they do Edward. How is that fair?

She honestly reminds me of my 13 year old brother. Nothing is ever his fault. He doesn't know how to say the words "I'm sorry" or "I was wrong". And he punishes people for their mistakes as if he was some perfect angel.

I know he wont, but I really kind of wish Edward would move on to someone better. I would rather be with someone who messes up, but is willing to admit to and take responsibility for their mistakes (hell, Edward takes responsibility for BELLA'S mistakes somtimes too)... than someone who messes up, maybe less (though I don't think Bella's mistakes are less bad than Edward's, just different) and acts like they are always the victim.

I'm starting to think Edward is just going to be Bella's bitch for the rest of the story. Bella over reacts, Edward acts like he cheated on her and grovels like some pathetic dog. It's already happened like 3 or 4 times.

I think Bella is considering the immediate safety when she says this.  She's thinking that she doesn't need to be upset all the time, because of the effects it will have on the baby.  Alice keeps asking if she's okay, and that's in reference to her emotional and physical state.

It's only been two days since all of this went down.  Other than the movie night, Bella hasn't been around Alice and Rose very much.  Also, keep in mind that Rose spoke to Bella's doctor who told her that she needed to stay calm, eat, drink, and all of that.  Rose wouldn't be inclined to jump on her after only two days for this reason.  Bella is getting out of bed, going to work, being fairly normally (faking, and pulling it off).  All in all, the safety of the baby is the most important thing.  That essentially starts with Bella taking care of herself. 

As far as Alice is concerned, she is just in shock.  That'll wear off and she won't sit by without having her say.  If there's even a need by that time for her to say anything.

Do you really wish Edward would find someone else?  Surely not.

I dont know what to say yet  but I am pretty sure that someone needs to get them in ths same room together maybe there phyical reaction to each other will spark some hidden memories   my husband thinks you keep this up and you can be moved to best friend statis   that part with the mirror  damm.......
