please tell me she cant walk because shes hasnt walked in months

This is such a moving fic.  I was totally surprised with last chapter's developments.  Updates are lovely.

Yay, she's awake!  I can see why she was so confused.  Especially since she really did know Jake.  Is she going to be OK though?

I went back and read the dialog from the beginning of the story until we found out she is in a coma.  It makes so much more sense now!  Some of the things that were said to Bella that were confusing, like Charlie saying they needed a miracle and Edward begging her to wake up and to respond.  I couldn't understand why they would say things like that.  And the way everyone said they were worried about her even though she seemed to be doing better.  Also, I thought 4 - 5 months was awfully quick to get over losing a husband and a baby, and moving on to a new relationship.  It all fits now. :)

WOW....I never expected that, I have to say well done on the story so far and I can't wait to see how it plays out.  Please, please don't take to long to update.

I came across your story a few hours ago quite by chance and started reading. I just finished chapter 14, and I have to say that your story is fantastic! I believed every word I was reading, and going along with the situation as it unfolded. I don't think it dawned on me, until dream Jacob talked to her, that the whole experience was in fact just a dream. I guess that was her "protecting her mind" from unpleasant circumstances? :)

Edward's recount of their life together was so sickeningly romantic ... *sigh*

I guess I haven't figured out yet why Bella was dreaming that Jake was her husband all along. I can't wait for the rest of your story to find out more details. Please, update again soon! Dying here! ;)

Damn!I have to admit that this truly is amazing. This really a first for the B&E spin off. I began this chapter thinking that another tragedy would occur, but as I read further I thought back to the man between Jake and Bella. I was thoroughly confused, but once she mentioned the room with the patient- I thought it has to be  Bella interacting with those closest to her via some sort of dream coma induced alt-reality. OMG, this is an excellent twist. You're brilliant.

Poor Edward, poor Bella! I would have never guessed that Bella was dreaming. I love this story line and can't wait to see what happens now that Bella is awake. One question though...how could Bella have been dreaming about being married to Jacob if she didn't know him? Why would she dream of being married to him instead of Edward?

I didn't say she didn't know him, did I? :P

She did know him...that will be brought up a atiny bit in this chapter but revisited more in chapter 17. Her subconscious dreamt a life with Jake out of guilt.

Yeah, I LOVE!  Definately LOVE!  This chapter really helped answer a lot of the questions I had before, really cleared things up.  You can see how the events in the previous "dream" chapters corresponded with what she was experiencing in real life.  The people that came to see her and talk to her.  It really hit me though, when Esme told Bella that Edward saw her every day and that he was hurting from this.  Right then the little lightbulb in my brain flickered on.  (Some days the gerbil that powers the lightbulb has to run extra hard...today was one of those days).

I can't wait to see what happens next!!!!!!
