I really am drawn to this story (yes, I favorited it too!) While I am a person of very committed faith, I also know how easy it is for people to slip over the line and take things too far ~ even if it's in God's name. I can so appreciate your Bella's struggle with what is "right" in God's eyes vs. her very real thoughts and desires which are difficult enough to deal with at the best of times! A bitter, religious zealout for a mother certainly makes things even more confusing. I am so interested in seeing how she continues to evolve and how she will affect Edward once he really gets to know her.  Your characters are very well developed and multi-layered ~ nice job.

I loved the incident with bella and edward at the end of the chapter. will we be seeing any more of jasper, alice, and jake? Good job!

The assorted shenanigans are quite quickly becoming the highlights of my days. The Caged Bird is a great read. Thanks for sharing.

Hmm...I wonder what's going on in Edward's head through all of this.  Is there an EPOV in the future?  I'd love to know what he thinks of Bella, as well as what's really happened in the past with his arrests and such.  Another great chapter!

Author's Response: I've seriously considered an EPOV, but have to admit that I'm a scared little bitch when it comes to male-centric writing. Maybe a companion piece in the future??

i love Bella's internal monologue. It's quite amusing at times. And the kiss; so close and yet so far. I loooove this story and i am really looking forward to the next chapter! :D

Badward is so...yummy, even if he wasnt in this chapter. When Bella was thinking about how Edward didnt seem to be the kind of person to commit breaking and entering i started thinking about what would happen if he sneaked in her window...which technically could be classed as breaking and entering...Bella would probably get the fright of her life. Either that or she'd think she was dreaming. I just think it would be rather amusing if Bella and Edward did get together in the future and Charlie ended up catching Bella and Edward in the middle of some 'lewd conduct'...doubtful that its going to happen but it would be hilarious...and probably really bad for them because they would be forced apart.

Anyway, like i said before, i really love this story and i am looking forward to the next chapter! :D
