I think he was toeing the line. However, I think he found someone who cared about him and he's not used to having that from a source other than his family that he's drawn to it unconsciously. At least, that's the reason I'm giving him! Great chapter!

Yeah, I don't believe for a second that the person on Lauren's phone was her boss. Judging by the better mood she came back with after the call, I would say it is the guy she is cheating on Edward with. It is total BS that she is just working late. No way in hell do I believe that LAUREN would go into work on a Saturday. Just no freaking way.

Such a squee-worthy Edward appearance! I'm loving the murky boundaries. I can't wait till we get up to where the story started although I think Ive got an idea as to why Edward made Bella cry. Please keep writing.

I don't know what's going on in Edward's mind, but I don't think he is aware of the casual touching because he is so at ease with Bella. but I think the more frustrated he becomes with Lauren he will start looking at Bella that way and then the good stuff will start to happen. I hope. and just a theory. Any way I can't wait for the next update.

yes to a degree he is crossing a line but ithink he is dying for some attention. Sorry but I think Lauren is cheating on Edward. Maybe I am wrong but, I think she's an idiot. Telling Bella that it is ok for her to be sleeping with Edward and it's ok with her isn't a good thing either. I bet it was to see if Bella would tell Edward what she said. A sort of test. Besides if Edward wants to stay with Lauren then have at it. Bella deserves someone who is special and maybe she will find that someone.

Hmmm, now that you say it he does take a few physical liberties. Does he know that Bella has feelings for him? Was Bella talking in her sleep in Alice's car? I need to go back and read some parts over!

Meaning i want him to dump ice queen bitch lauren :D....I don't want bella to be his #2 girl....she has to be #1 and the only one for Edward.
The playing with her hair and then tugging it *dreamy sigh*...and of course he came bearing Chocolate ice-cream :D
BTW im so tired of him saying he loves lauren...i don't think he does..its just like a default thing for him to say..with no feeling of that love...just frustration and tiredness.

No, you are not the only one who thinks Eddie boy is playing with fire. Another round of tickling is certainly going to push things over the edge. Curious that Bella isn't telling Edward about the conversation with Lauren. I know she doesn't want to hurt Edward, but he is going to find out at some point and he will not be kind to her if he finds out she knew about it and didn't say anything...
For the record, I like nice long chapters. They are engrossing and filling. I'd like more please...

Author's Response: Ahhhh I wish I could just word vomit the chapters out! Sadly, it takes time, and I don't have a lot of that! My goal is once weekly updates from now on, on Friday or Saturday. Thanks for your reviews, and thanks for hanging in there!

I am starting to think that Edward is just messed up. He needs a little self- confidence. I think I understand 2 things: 1.) Lauren probably knows that Bella would say something to Edward and he would either not believe her and push her away or say something to Lauren who would make it look like Bella's lying. Am I close? and 2.) Edward needs to figure out on his own what is really going on so if Bella doesn't say anthing at least he still has a friend to lean on. I think she is right not to say anything. Everyone else knows what Lauren really is (spawn of satan).
Author's Response: These are some interesting observations. I don't really support Bella's decision personally, but she's going with her gut for now. I guess we'll see if that continues :) Thanks for the review!
