Liking this story a lot so far!  But when you talk about the Cullens (in plural) you don't need the apostrophe s.  You only use that when it is possessive.  As in the Cullen's house.  If you just say "Here come the Cullens..." it is simple plural without the possessive and thus no need for the apostrophe.  Sorry, I am just a grammatical freak.  :)

the thing that made me almost STOP reading the books was Edward leaving.  I hated it.  It infuruated me!

Same with me, i almost stopped too. Which is why my Edward isn't 'really' going to leave. You'll just have to keep reading to find out what happens.

Ad chapter end notes: I don't think that would be very logical (I'm talking about "Sort of the same story line" and "Edward does leave"). In fact, not even the last few chapters in this story are very logical. Mind reading Bella is a good idea but your effort to force it in the canon plotline is ruining everything. Please (please, please, please very much), don't do what you have implied in the note. And if you find time, you might also consider to erase/edit some small parts of the last few chapters of this story.
As for the idea of omitting Volturi - good idea, definitely go for it! People are writing so much about them that I'm sick of it.

I'm not entirly sure what your talking about, what parts should be changed? With Bella's gift don't you think it would be interesting to hear what the Volturi and Aro are thinking? I don't really blame you for being sick of them though, I am too, I just can't think of a logical alternative to them.

i think you should put the volturi in full moon. the rest you can do without but i think you do need them in it.

this chapter seemed very alike the book and film to me. but still was funny. cant wait to read full moon. im here if you want a tester for it.

i dont see why she didnt just call esme and ask her, and also why didnt she get the other vamps attention and make them be quiet. would have made more sense. oh and wheres emmett?? i thought he was travelling with carlisle and edward

Did I forget to mention stayed in Forks to help Esme and Rose if need be. Bella already figured Charlie was safe or Esme would have called, she figured it was a trap from the begining.
