I like that Bella wants to be independent and not just rely on Edward's money. I also like that realizes that he did this because he loves her, not to be controlling. She is right to still be mad, but I like that she tells him that she loves him even though she is pissed. I hate waiting for updates, but you make up for it when they are long ones. Still loving this story.

ohhh boy! I'm almost surprised that Edward & Bella got that sorted - I was pretty concerned there was going to be a "give me space & time" separation coming on the heels of that fight.

I love that they duked it out and got it more or less settled though :)

I wonder what sort of contract Bella's going to negotiate now? Oh, and really liked when she gave the verbal smackdown to Jess hehe :)

Wrapping up time in Milan Edward and Bella return to the villa.  They quickly have to pack all their things due to a limo picking them up in a few hours for their flight back to LA.  After the long flight home both Edward and Bella were extremely tired due to jet lag.  When Bella checked her text messages and emails she noticed a couple from Jessica.  She also noticed Edward seemed uptight slightly like there was a problem he didn't want to talk about.  As she talked to Edward with her concerns about Jessica and the meeting he gave her encouragement.  He already knew she was going to be fired.  In fact his discussion with his father was to have their business attorney draw up a contract for Bella to work for them.  Bella didn't have previous knowledge of what the meeting was going to be about.  She arrived at the office, getting snide looks and comments from Eric.  Jessica was drawing the torment out awaiting the killing punch to destroy Bella and be the triumphant one.  Bella also discovered that Edward had paid a visit to Jessica to change her contract for foreign travel.  Bella actually had the last word and told Jessica exactly what she always wanted to tell her.  Jessica told her to empty her desk and Bella left with her dignity.  She didn't start crying until she reached her truck.  By the time she arrived home she was upset, still no knowledge that Edward knew she would be fired and that the wheels were in motion to offer her a contract with their company.  A huge fight between occurred.  Both declared they still loved each other.  Bella wanted to see the contract.  Edward had it faxed to them.  Bella stressed that honesty in the relationship works both ways.  Edward needed to tell her when he and Carlisle found out from Marcus.  She would have been more prepared to face Jessica.  Maybe even more and better jabs at her character and personality.

hmm i think we should take Jessica and knock the crap out of her! But then again that is just me.

Great chapter, loved how you kept Bella so close in character to what Stephanie wrote. Can't wait for the next one!

I am sooo glad I found this story!   I am not sure I've laughed this hard in months!  My hubby thinks I've lost my mind.  Guess he isn't used to seeing me sitting at the computer laughing until I cry.  I cannot wait to read the rest of this!

While I am not pissed about the delay in updating.... I really don't like being left hanging... So  more updates please! I know I never review... So glad Bella does not have to deal with Jessica anymore. Would be great if Angela could get hired by the Cullens too, so I won't have to feel so bad for her.

Oh what I would not give to be in Bella's shoes! I wan't to eat McDonalds with Edward by the river.... Although I do not think I would be able to eat. And the lemony scene was very tasty! Thanks for giving me something nice to think about today :)
