Poor Edward - but I'm GLAD he got sick!! lol...Jasper probably wasn't quite up to going, and how freakin' sweet was this chapter?? Edward is a crankypants when he's sick. :) Jasper was so sweet to him - they really are a good match of personalities - Jasper's not too pushy of clingy when Edward is cranky, and easily forgives. Hopefully, Edward will continue to relax around him, and ask for what he needs. And all that snuggle time...I wanted to be the cream in their oreo cookie, smooshed between those two warm hotties in bed. :)
Thanks for the wonderful update! :)

Awwww. It's nice to see the boys so cute while they are sick. I appreciate that you are writing about everyday things like getting a cold and being grumpy. It seems to make the characters more believable and their love story more precious.

Aww, that was so sweet, J taking care of E like that. That is the kind of thing that lasting relationships are built on. Great chapter.

Sweet that Jasper is taking care of Edward. Even sweeter when Edward discovers that Jasper likes to cuddle too.

I am absolutely loving this story. I was out all day and had no access to my computer. I found myself thinking about your story at odd times all through the day. When I finally got to our hotel this evening I found myself arguing with my 15 year old to get off Twitter and Facebook so I could get on to read. It's now one am and I need to sleep...after one more chapter.

Poor baby! :( It was nice how everyone babied him while he was sick..>Esme is a sweetheard, and man, I'd love to be cradled in Edward's arms when I had the sniffles!! Glad he's going away with the group - he and Edward can have some romantic times and step up the smoochin' a bit. I've been out to those islands, and would honeymoon there in a heartbeat!! they're gorgeous. :)
Thanks for the update!!I think of the boys a lot. :)

I love this story. I love how it's "Slash" but not in the traditional sense. You treat these two as if they are having a romance like any other heterosexual romance, and that's not all sex and heat. It's so endearing, and they both just tug at my heartstrings as they come together. That's the kind of stuff Stephanie was able to do with Twilight, and why it's such a great read. Thank you for making this so real.

This story continues to keep my interest- the careful weaving of it is subtle but distinct.
Liked Edward and Jasper's date. Like that they are so sweet with one-another.
More please....

I thought that was a great first date. Send Edward to me next weekiend.

Aww... That was so cute. It was perfect. And I can sympathise with Edward on the therapy. Eight months of it when I was ten. Hip surgery, the ball joint was coming out of socket. *now has a metal plate with nuts and bolts* I really enjoyed this. Fine work, Missa, Draven

Must apologise for not reviewing sooner but will do each chapter when I re-read next week. I just got so caught up!
Wow.
I don't do slash fics because of an insensitive Edward/Carlisle senario that rendered me very wary but... wow.
The way you depict the characters emotionally (especially the range and intensity) feels so realistic- that they don't just bounce back makes them feel more adult whilst allowing them room for progression.
Wow.

Of course Jasper had them read The Killer Angels :) great book!
I love the way this group interacts. They really are a family - everybody watching everybody's back and caring for one another. I really think Emmett helps more than they give him credit for - with all the uber-emos in this group (spazzy Alice, grumpy Edward, deep Jazz) they NEED someone to snap them out of it! They would just get sucked up into an emo vortex and disappear without him. :) He takes a lot of slaps from Rose, but he's vital. And I love how Carlisle and Esme get to have them all as kids :)
Thank you for shedding so much (accurate) light on domestic violence, both from Bella/Jasper's perspective and from the information you're providing. I worked in the field for years, and you've nailed it. And while I wish Jasper didn't have to revisit his past, I think you're doing a great thing here, educating your readers so well. And it's not just a hetero, male/female thing, and Jasper's back story is pointing that out. KUDOS to you!!! :)
Edward's angst was giving me knots in my stomach, too - poor Jasper. Maybe Edward can come up with some phrase for them all that means "I'm in a mood, it's me not you" so they don't worry? Hmm, how about "I have my period today." ha! that seems emo enough for Edward. :)))
Thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to the date!!! Hope they get some make-out time. (hint hint)
:)

Poor Jas and Ed.

Wondering what is going on with Edward. I don't quite understand the current perior of withdrawal. Poor Jasper. It seems his heroic actions are weighing quite heavily upon him. Wondering how things are going to end up. I just can't help but feel James is going to make another appearance.
Completely wrapped up in this story and ready for an update whenever you have it...

Aww... Poor guy. I know what that's like. Worrying yourself nearly sick. And analyzing a situation until it drives you nuts. I tend to over-analyze things. Or so my mom says. She's usually right. XD Fine work, Draven

My vote was much deserved- this story has quickly moved to one of my favorites and I have loved the quick updates.
I am enjoying the way Edward and Jasper's relationship is developing and am eager to read more.
So happy that Bella is away from James. Have a feeling he may try to make an appearance. As long as he doesn't hurt Bella or Edward, I think it will be o.k. Maybe Jasper can finally squash him like the bug he is- not sure that Jasper's psyche can handle that though. I'm sure you have a plan, and I am so ready to read it!

I've walked the road Edward is on. Going on 21 years now. *mild form of Cerebral Palsy* Though I can't believe he pulled the sympathy card. *growls* I hate that. And I loathe pity. Surest way to piss me off. Anyway, I really like your chosen angle for this. I'm enjoying the character by-play. But James... Blech. *shudders* Fine start, Draven

Wow, thanks for the zippy update! hooray!!I was very excited to see you in my email. :)
This chapter was fabu! The sweet kisses between E&J were "awwww!"-inspiring (haha!) but I especially loved the way they all took care of her...surrounding her, playing with her hair, Emmett not crowding her, Rose encouraging her to eat, and reassuring her...they really ARE a family. I think it was a huge step for Edward to let Jazz see him taking the shot from Carlisle - extending that trust to Jazz that way. :)) Poor Jasper with his past perp too :( He's right - James will be back to torture us all (I was sweatin' bullets for Edward on the walk home!!) I just hope that he doesn't kick Ed's butt. Let him kick Jasper's, if he must kick someone's - Jasper could take it and I fear Edward couldn't. BTW, are we gonna find out at some point what happened to Edward, what the accident was about? Sounds BAD. :(
Mazeltov on being a Grand Poobah in the voting!!! :)
Hmm....I wish Jasper knew some massage techniques to help soothe away Edward's pain....mmmmm....

Love that Jasper stepped up and protected Bella. Love too that both he and Edward are so caring and considerate of each other. Their sensitivity to each other's feelings shows that there is more to them than attraction (though, it's present too). So glad that James will be out of the picture- though I get the feeling their might be an appearance or two from him, just to keep things interesting.
This story is complex and interesting- it's really pretty damn addicting. It's gonna be a long, hot summer if you don't update weekly (yeah, pretty shameless, but I like to grovel). Hope you have written the next chapter, because I sure am ready to read it!
Author's Response: Jasper couldn't just stand by and listen/watch. Jas and Edward have an amazing connection so soon in their relationship, and we'll be able to see it grow a bit. And yes, James will be back. I'm glad you're enjoying the story. It's a couple chapters ahead on ff.net, if you want to get a bit more caught up. :D Thanks for reading and leaving a review!

LOVE me some Jasper the Hero!! He did So well getting Bella out of there! I'm glad he called for backup!! I know James will resurface...that's how perps are :( FUcker! I hope she gets a restraining order too, and speaks with his captain. I'm glad they locked the place down - I'm a bit worried for her roommate! A night with everybody supporting her, pizza, and ice cream will do the trick. :) (works for me! haha)
I'm bummed that their date is cancelled, or on hold, but I'm sure that rescuing Bella just endeared Jasper to Edward (and the rest of them) about 100000 fold. :)
So...why did Edward have a "bad day"?? :( I hope he and Jazz get some handholding time at least - it helps. :) After all this drama, the relationship should be a whiz!
Many thanks for the update!! :)
Author's Response: James will be back. Edward had a high pain day, which makes it hard for him to do anything. The relationship will start to take off soon! Thanks for reading and leaving a review!

How exatly did Edward get a gimp leg?
Author's Response: It will all be revealed later, but the short answer was that he was in a car accident that nearly left him paralyzed.
