awesome chapter - Theda's so much better than Edward at the self-loathing; though in her case she's had a LOT more time to perfect and some real tragedies to feed the feeling :(

I'm very happy you like it!  No, Bella isn't in this story.  I simply didn't "see" her when the story came to me, and believe me, she would have been far easier to use than to make up a character, but I had a lot of fun "making" Theda.  I'm glad you like her :-)  Thank you so much for your lovely review!

geez Theda's history just got a whole lot more interesting - with the possibilities of all those memories on board, she hasn't just lived HER life, but several others at the very least as well! :)

Theda's lucky she appears to have met the Volturi before the rise of Jane & Alec, and Aro's more ambitiious Power-collection phase.

Wonder what's up next for Theda and Edward (and the Cullens in general, I guess hehe)

I enjoyed this line - Alice smirked as she said the last bit.  I think she liked the alliteration.

I also really liked hearing everyone's thoughts. I know how hard it is to find that balance when writing everything Edward hears mentally. I only make him hear thoughts directed at him, for the most part in BHLB, but I think you did a good job of hearing Edward and Edward hearing everyone else.

Does that make sense? IDK, but good job. lol.

As you can probably tell, I love the character of Edward and his traits (the mind reading, etc) as much as I love Edward himself, lol!  He's actually a lot of fun for me to write for, and I enjoy getting into his head (and by extention, everyone else's!)
