Wow! This is so sad. Why did you have to kill Phil?
Author's Response: It was hard putting Bella through this, but it felt necessary and I don't think I can explain it properly for it to make sense. I liked Phil, and I really hated killing him, but I really like writing an Edward who steps up to the plate to take over as the protector of Bella...not that she wouldn't be able to take care of herself, but she needs someone to lean on and now it's all on Eddie-boy!

this was so good...I love how he took care of her...I would think that Phil would have warned Bella though a little bit, just since her parents were taken so quickly, I would think he wouldn't want to do that to her again.
Author's Response: You know, at the risk of sounding crazy, these characters "talk" to me, and as I wrote this, I kept telling Phil that he needed to say something, give the poor girl some idea, but he kept telling me that he knew she was in good hands and he didn't want to disrupt her life. I said, "Yeah, but she's been through hell & back and you're just adding to it," and he said, "Just write the damn chapter, I'm not telling her because she can handle it."
Do you think I'm crazy now? Seriously, once the first chapter is written, I swear these characters take on a life of thier own and twist my original plans. This was not how I originally planned this to go, it just happened.
Thanks for reading & leaving a review. I enjoy hearing what worked or didn't work for those who read it. It doesn't all work for me all the time, sometimes it's just one of those, "I can live with it" things.
