Reviews For The Screamers

This story just keeps getting better and better.  I like the idea that Bella, for all of her personality defects is able to help Edward.  It seems like they are saving each other...or at least are headed in that direction.  Hope Bella can find her decent table manners though...

Can't wait to see what Alice has to say about Bella!

The country western thing at the end was hilarious!  Really, is there anything more depressing than that crap?  Like the story-eager for more.  Hope you have something to post quickly!

Author's Response:

Thanks Alice.  I truly appreciate you review.  I hope you keep reading.

As a small treat here is my fave joke at the moment:

Once upon a time there lived an inflatable boy.  He attended an inflatable school where all his friends and teachers were inflatable.  One day, the boy brought a pin to school.  He was immediately called into the principal's office.

"What on earth do you think you're doing, bringing a pin to school?" said the principal.  "Do you have any idea what you've done?  You've let me down, you've let yourself down, you've let the whole school down!"

Hope you liked it.

Nice - I like this Bella, she's tough, but yet you can tell she wants to be softer.  I like this Edward as well, he cares for her still even though she is a PITA.  Keep it up!

Author's Response:

Thanks hon for your support.  The next chapter is in the queue so keep you eyes open.

yeaah.. I liked it :D the whole story seems awesome and totally different from other story's so cooL:D

Oh, these two really *have* met their match in each other haven't they? In fact, I think even their inner voices would probably hit it off! Love the snarky chemistry. They are totally swimming in that river in Egypt at the mo about their mutual attraction aren't they?

I like that Bella is no girly girly here. She burps. She winds Edward up. She smells of wee - and it's not even her own. Eeurgh Charlie - just no. Can you imagine how fantastic that shower must've felt? (Nice touch that the usual strawberry/freesia scents were the hotel toiletries).

I'm pretty sure RPattz has developed a bit of a phobia of crowds of screaming girls after the Hot Topic tour. Did he not say somewhere that the sound of hundreds of girls screaming his name was akin to the sound at the gates of hell? I like that you've woven that in to Edwards character here. And Alice as a sistmanager? Frightening to the max. How hawt was that wee flash of Domward? More of that yummy goodness please...

Author's Response:

Hey Hawk

God I love your reviews.  You notice EVERYTHING!  Amazing.  I did indeed base E's phobia in this story on poor old Rob's incredulity at his fame.  In fact it was the whole inspiration for the story.  That and getting to write some hot Twi-porn (still in the works I'm afraid.)

Please keep enlightening me with your thoughts as the story progresses - I truly value your opinion.

I'm writing the next chapter as we speak - trying to get that delicate balancing act of humour and emotion - not fucking easy!

Talk soon!

Mwah!

This seems like a pretty cool story so far. I really like bad ass Bella! Oh and the fact that Edward is scared of 15 year old girls hilarious!!!

What is it about a controlling Edward that is just so... hot?  Is it just me?  No, can't be.

Your Bella is completely out there jaded, but i like her.

Author's Response:

Hey AmeryMarie

You are so right about controlling Edward *note to self: find a way to get more domineering E moments into this story!*

Bella is going to start giving details of how she ended up on the street in the next chapter.  And Edward will reveal why he got into drugs in the first place.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review - it really means a lot to me.

Awww...more lemony, less angsty please.

It's interesting how they are both using their humor to block the pain.

I mean, look, he's been in rehab a few times.  Taking drugs is a way of not dealing.  It's not just the rock n' roll lifestyle, that boy has got some pain he's stuffing down with drugs.

Then Bella.  Well, you don't wind up on the street with men pissing on you by accident, right?

So, my wish is that the angst centers around their voyage of self-discovery.  In other words, breaking down each other's walls.  I have a feeling they're two sides of the same coin.  In other words, if Edward didn't have his family and/or his talent, he might be lying there on the streets with Bella.

Nice way to bring Alice and Bella together.  I soundly refuse any ff where they do not love each other totally.  They are MFEO like E & B are MFEO.  It just IS.

You have certainly created two very interesting characters here.  Poor Edward being famous and fearing fame.

One thing you did that impressed me.  Usually most people would have had Bella the next morning tucking her tail between her legs and insisting she go back on the streets.  I like how she accepted his generosity and saving her and thanked him for it.

I am also impressed that he can meet stubborn Bella head-on and deal with her BS.

Yes, you could say I'm hooked.

Author's Response:

Hey Grizzly

Love your reviews hon - always intelligent and thought provoking.

You're right about the walls that B & E have put up.  We'll start to get little details about why they are how they are in the next chapter - and bit by bit they'll realize they are what the other is missing.  E's addictive personality is hiding the fact that he feels completely out of place in the crazy world that he inhabits.  He didn't choose this lifestlye and getting high was a way to not deal with it (your are spot on with your theory.)

And Bella has issues related to feeling as though her mother and Phil didn't want her around.  She tried to make it on her own but her low self-esteem (and events yet to be revealed), left her depressed and dejected.  Part of her believed she deserved nothing better than to live on streets.  But she sees the opportunity that has fallen into her lap and with E's help, will realize she is worthy of so much more.

Alice will be making her presence felt in the next chapter, and how!  She a force of nature, and although it seems that she and Bella are going to butt heads, never fear, they will be BFF's before the chapter's end.

E & B will continue to goad eachother and break down their respective walls, and eventually will realize they were made for each other - but not before some thigh-clenching sexual tension and several monumental arguments.

So hey - there's a thumbnail sketch of where this is going.  Thanks so much for taking an interest - your thoughts and theories mean the world to me.

LOL, I know exactly what you mean about reviews... I didn't think they were a big deal until I posted my own story for the first time... now every time I update a chapter I sit in front of my computer clicking the refresh button and checking my email roughly every 20 minutes or so.

Anyways, your story is too funny! I was actually laughing out loud, and I love that he named his fans "the screamers"! I look forward to reading more and am adding it to my favorites :D

Author's Response:

Hey Wishingforlove

Lol...yes review addiction is quickly becoming a problem for me.  Mind you it does make me want to write faster so I can get more chapters up to review.
