Okay. That chapter was awesome! Why you ask? Well, first of all... nothing makes me happier than the idea of Edward beating off. I mean seriously... that shit is just way too hot. Second: you named his manliness Godzilla. It absolutely kills me how NON-subtle that is. Love it! Third: I just love your character of Bella because she doesn't take shit from anyone. Not for you the "lemon-flavoring" or the zesty "bit of lemon". No, not even lemon "juice". You my girl have given us the entire f***ing juicy lemon, rind and all!!! And it is waaayyy fab. I have literally checked at least twice a day since your last posting to see when the hell you would be updating. This chapter did not dissapoint! So I'm wondering if you plan on giving us some of your new panties....because we are all going to need some after reading this chapter. Brilliant set up from the beginning of their working relationship of one of the longest foreplay sessions ever, only to FINALLY, get to the main event in this chapter. And....it was soooo worth it. Beyond worth it. I need new panties and a cold shower, since Edward and his super, wonder cock aren't expected to show up at my house anytime soon. Damn. And, like a fine wine, it has improved with age (well, I did read it on ff.net a few some days ago. And now it is even better than I remember). So very many things to love about this chapter. I'll endeavour to pick some of my faves:
The dirty talk - so in character for B & E. They never stop snarking, even when finally getting their freak on. And it's pretty darn hot I must say...
The Star Wars references? Pure gold. I think that may well be a fanfic smut first y'know.
Alice and her psychic wonder abilities - how many unwanted pregnancies would've been prevented if everyone had a friend/sister like Alice?! Seriously though - I like how she gives in and facilitates this unacceptable touching marathon. You can't fight fate (and heavy doses of lust) Alice...
The ever-erect wonder peen. Not surprising though, I just knew EC would have mad skills...
One of the truly lovely things about this chapter, other than the UST finally getting some resolution (and how?!) was that there was a whole heap of love mixed in there too. Sex between a reformed manwhore and an ex-homeless girl who has used sex as currency *shouldn't* be romantic on paper. And yet, it was. As well as all the hawt smut, there was some pretty beautiful loving going on here too...
