I don't often review stories I am betaing, but I could not NOT review this chapter. This was bloody fantastic! I think this captures what we all HOPED was going through Edward's mind during Twilight and beyond and you did a fantastic job of making this extraordinarily hot without them doing anything to each other! THAT takes talent! Your flawless writing is also MUCH appreciated!

(I have always firmly believed that there is NO WAY that absolutely NOTHING happened before the wedding night. So I took off the Mormon filter and set my perviness to work!) I'm fully aware of how weird this is going to sound but...it really bugs me when a 17-18 year old Bella is referred to as a "woman" rather than the "girl" that she is. I know Bella is an old soul and more mature than the rest of Forks High, blah blah, but that's NOT what Edward is talking about here. Bella is physically a teenager (though she is legal!) and calling her a woman just makes it sound....ooky?
However....I have no problem with Edward's vampire kinky thoughts of what he was fantasizing about. Hey, it's vampire fiction! So yeah, I'm kind of warped. Looking forward to more...but hoping he shuts it with the 'woman' crap :-D
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I know what you mean, but I wasn't really trying to focus too much on that. Any mention of her being a woman really was in reference to how mature she is. Maybe it makes him feel better about perving on her so hard, lol. Thanks for the review.

Wow...you know, I can see this being something like what Edward might have experienced, he makes the point many times that Bella severely underestimates his self-control AND he always stresses that while he is a vampire he is still quite confidently a MAN. I actually enjoyed reading this, and loved this line: "The problem was convincing my body that she was not meant to be my last supper" There were other lines but that one equals the consummate problem as a whole. I look forward to reading more!

Oh, I am loving the premise you've set here.... and REALLY loving the deeper look into Edward's internal battles.
I am a staunch advocate for combining the struggle with bloodlust and bodylust. Vampires have been romanticized for centuries, and the act of the "Vampire's Kiss" itself is extremely erotic.
Anyhoo.... I love reading this type of struggle, and I LURRRVE reading Edward X Bella smutty-goodness.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! I fully agree with the entire "Vampire Kiss" thing. I think his struggle makes Edward a very deep character and SM only barely delves into that. (which is odd, since he's HER character) and I also feel he was severely robbed in Breaking Dawn!
I have the first 6 chapters written so far, so the first few updates shouldn't be much of a wait. I've hit a little wall now, since I kinda hide my writing from the hubby (I already get teased so much for my Twi-obsessing, and I'm a milder addict!) and he's home way more lately, so I'm trying to navigate proper writing time! But hopefully shouldn't be too long!
