wow. I frickin' loved that! i always wanted to read Edward's POV on the pregnancy and your version of it is brilliant. It has a hint of the smuttiness in the past which makes it so much more...interesting. I can't wait for the next chapter! :D

Well, I don't ever try to change the story, the major plot points, etc... but I do enjoy adding extra scenes that COULD have happened during the same time line. To me, it's like a special view that we would never get without EPOV. Like the last chapter... we don't know for a fact that they didn't have hot sex on a beach, we just aren't told that through BPOV. Edward doesn't like to skip the juicy details! (also... we really don't know that they didn't practice a bit before the wedding, either. I've had people tell me that automatically makes my storry AU or OOC because they didn't in the book. Well, I don't particularly know exactly what went down on all of those long nights he stayed over, lol.)

Thank you for the scene where Edward shows Bella how selfish (IMO) she's being where her father is concerned!!! That's the one thing that has bothered me most about her character was written by SM.

That's really all I'm trying to do with this part, give Edward the POV that he was robbed. I think the story would have been better for it. I'm not focusing everything on that from now on, just enough to get Bella the vamp we need her to be.

Very much like BD in a lot of ways, but I do know that from the time they arrived back in Forks it was only 10 days (not weeks) until Bella gave birth.  So, this makes me wonder how much longer for this version of Bella?  hmmm? Is it going to be a daughter?  Are you going to name her Renesmee?  Is Jacob going to be around to imprint on said hybrid?  How "canon" is this tale going to be and how far are you taking things?  Yes, lots of questions... that you probably won't answer.  Oh well!

I'm actually staying as close to canon as possible. I am not trying to change any details, only to add love scenes and EPOV. You made me think about it, though, so I went back through the book to find why I said they'd been back two weeks. (I knew it wasn't only 10 days, but couldn't remember why.) At the very beginning of Jacob's book, he says himself that it had been four weeks since he'd heard anything (since the wedding) and the waiting was killing him. Since they say at the end of the honeymoon that it had been 17 days since the wedding, and then Jacob later says four weeks, I am taking that to mean that they are back in Forks for roughly two more weeks before Jacob shows up. That is where chapter 8 takes place. I believe it's only about 10 days after that when she finally gives birth, though, so that may be where you're thinking of it.

Everything else is staying the same, or as close as I can manage. I'm not sure how far I am taking it. I'd like to go to where Edward can hear her thoughts, because I think that will make an amazing lemon, but I don't really want to go through the entire Volturi battle. I'm not sure yet, perhaps I'll skim it over.
