Oh, wow. Hearing the baby was just amazing. I love Edward's responses to that. Love it.
Also really liked him freaking out about why her heart couldn't beat now that he needed it to. That the blood wasn't rushing now that he wanted it to. What a sick joke that would be for him. Cruel.

Another perfect look into Edward's BD POV - yet again! I don't know how you do it woman but even the things you have taken 'artistic license' with seem as though they could have happened in canon.
I sobbed for Edward. Yes, his desperation/determination is heartbreaking. The birthing scene was still gross - kudos :D

So happy to see "thump, thump"! This was really good. Edward's thoughts to Rosalie "rabid cunt" made me laugh out loud as did Rosalie's "never had a foot job before. Amateur." Well done. Your EPOV is very real sounding and adds so much to Breaking Dawn which I felt had too many holes. Thank you!! Looking forward to happy, sexy times with E/B after her change.

Wow. I was choked up when Edward was hearing Nessie's thoughts. It was so sweet and emotional. And when Nessie was born? Lordy, Edward is so...amazed. That ending was really emotional as well...the whole thing was brilliant! Just one thing, the x-ray? A pregnant woman shouldnt have an x-ray because it can damage, or even kill the unborn baby. Of course, Nessie is part vampire so i doubt radiation would affect her in the same way...
Anyway, i can't wait for the next chapter! :D

I just found my review of the previous chapter and your comments about the timeline. Here's where I get the 10 days...
Edward and Bella were married on Aug. 13th, everyone knows that. They realized Bella was pregnant on the 17th day of the honeymoon, now we're up to Aug. 30th. It took almost a day to get home and Renesmee was born on Sept. 10th. Edward turned Bella on the same day and she woke up almost 3 days later, which was also her 19th birthday, Sept. 13th.
See? 10 days.
I think Jacob was doing a rough estimate when he said it had been four weeks since the wedding. Actually four weeks exactly after the wedding, Bella had already went on her honeymoon with Edward, gotten pregnant, given birth, been turned and woke up a vampire.
Author's Response: Hmmm.... then perhaps it's a small oversight on SM's part? I wasn't going by the dates really, just what Jake said, so that makes sense. Oh well, that's where I got it from.

I can't remember which chapter I reviewed last, but I try to review each chapter as I read it. Oh well!
Anyway... I remember thinking when I read BD that Edward and Bella didn't seem to have any time just to be together, what with Rose and Jacob always lurking. I knew they needed that, at least to talk some, if nothing romantic. I'm glad that you're version shows some alone time for the two of them. The foot job was just a bonus! *teehee*
The only things I'm looking for is Bella to be reborn a vampire and the bonding process between the two parents and the baby. After that some wonderful vampire loving while the other Cullens babysit! Yeah, that's the ticket!

That part of BD is one of the things I loved more in the whole saga (While I did hate the first part of NM, that everybody and her sister is writing about) . I can't understand why some readers did not like BD. All the meaning of Twilight came to play into it. Being human, being a vampire, impossible and yet possible. Horror and love, despair and hope...
You are doing a good job re-telling it in a different PoV.

You are in no way crazy for getting all emotional at the end. His pain is extreme and so heartfelt. His desperation is so clear and real. But it is so clear and vital that you have him NOT GIVE UP on her. His reciprocation of her earlier devotion is so crucial and key. The mutt left her for dead, but Edward refused to do so. He knew Bella's wish, and he worked to ensure her wishes.
I was also particularly touched being able to get Edward's reaction to hearing the baby's thoughts and when he had to perform the Ceasarian. I think you did a great job keeping this chapter (and the story really) very true to the canon character.
I also loved the footjob. Seriously, Bella is feeling better and VERY pregnant, her actions are SO FITTING. I am ecstatic that you incorporated that so successfully. Their mouthed conversation was totally believable and adorable. Plus, I love that you have him laying with her to help her sleep. That is key to keeping her calm and happy.
I just loved it all really. This story makes me VERY HAPPY.
As for future things I want to read, well, I am a BIG FAN of their first kiss once she is turned. They don't have to hold back at all, and I long to hear Edward's thoughts on that. I have considered writing that one myself, but I would love to read your interpretation of it. Everything else beyond that is gravy, but that kiss... Holy Shit! That is the key moment for me.
I am so looking foward to your next update! Wonderful story! :D

So, uh, wow. I'll be honest, when I first decided to read this story after hearing the girls on Twigasm recommend it, I was figuring on your basic practice-before-the-wedding-night plot. So the fact that you continued on after the honeymoon (a wonderful honeymoon, by the way. I definitely got the idea of Edward tasting Bella's blood that first time. SM's bruise thing always seemed a little over-the-top for Edward in my opinion) just kind of makes me love this story. Originally I thought Edward seemed a little OOC, just a little bit too much swearing, but this chapter. Oh my god, this chapter. I must have read it seven times now. It's not lemony I know, but I swear it's like you crawled inside my head while I was reading Breaking Dawn. I'm not such a fan of Renesmee, but I'm a sucker for EPOV and this was just written perfectly. Please tell me you're going to write the scene where he firsts hears the baby in the womb? Pleeeease?

I honestly didn't know where I was going to take this story when I started. I mainly wanted to dig deeper into Edward's bloodlust and just put it out there that him wanting to bite her AND screw her HAD to be what was going on in his mind, and it was sexy as hell. (at least IMO) I worried about him seeming too OOC as well, but the only defense I have for that while trying to stay as canon as possible everywhere else is that he is mainly his crudest in his own mind. We never know what he thinks in the book. Yes, he does get into the dirty talk, but it was because Bella liked it so much that he kept it up. (naughty girl!) I debated for a long time about taking the story further, but once I reached that point I honestly felt that I just had to. I felt like he was robbed of his POV in the book, and I actually really liked BD. But he was stuck in the background and that cannot be. (nobody puts Baby in the corner! lol)
I'm so happy that you liked this last chapter. I was so nervous when I posted it, that it wouldn't be received well. Turns out that whether we love or hate BD, we all want more EPOV. Thank you so much for the thoughtful review.
Also, chapter 9 should update any day now. It's just waiting for validation. And yep... that is one of the main things discussed in the chapter. I really hope you like it. (there is a lot of skimming over details, but mainly to get to the good stuff)
