Another excellent chapter.  And once again, this is the scene that desperately CRIED OUT to be told in Edward's POV.  What did Jacob really have to offer to it?

Renesmee's chit chat was adorable...slightly creepy (let's face it, just about everything to do with Renesmee is a bit creepy), but cute.

Just amazing! My favorit part was Edward hearing the babies thoughts. Loved this chapter most of all.

I have one question though. Wasnt it Edwards Vanquish that he lent to Jacob, not Bella's after car?

I was most definitely choked up--the moment when Edward realized that the baby meant no harm to Bella, the moment he fell in love with the baby too--that part of the book gave me the biggest smile.  And then to have it all (almost) come crashing down a few days later when the placenta ruptured.  Edward in BD appeared IMO to be so calm and in control--but I always imagined that inside his head it was utter turmoil.  Just beyond frightened that he'd lost his reason for existing when they were so close to having it all.  Willing her to live when everyone else had given up, it seems. 

So, as far as what I would like to see happen after Bella's change, I have a few ideas.  What I would love to see is more interaction between Edward and Renesmee.  I feel like BD cheated us out of a lot of father/daughter bonding.  I mean, how mindblowing is it that Edward, patron saint of self-loathing, hits the jackpot and gets not only the love of his existence but also a child out of the deal?  I feel like the significance of a child for him was really not dealt with properly in BD. 

As far as 'other' things I'd like to see them do...I think I would like to see Edward truly just lose control now that he can't hurt VampBella.  I think she's wanted to see that happen as well.

I fully agree about the lack of any father/daughter bonding. I know there aren't tons of R fans here, but they may just have to hush up and deal if I want to go into that a little bit. I like her. I think the fact that Edward, everyone's favorite hero, was able to make this amazing child is so lovely. He should have a chance to enjoy that.

As for him just letting go... oh yes. I haven't written it yet, but I have a few different scenarios in mind. All of which will most likely get played out in some way. I am trying to stay close to the book, so the first encounter might be a tiny bit more tame... but newborn Bella won't be able to go very long without pushing Pervward's buttons. He's going to shock himself.

I love Edward's POV.  The little foot job was very nice...... so very Edward of him to be embarassed about it.  I thought it was a bit awkward for her to do that in front of Jacob, but not so much in front of Rosalie.  I'm glad Rosalie was the only one that figured it out!!

I can't wait to see all the vampire sexin' you're coming up with.   There's lots I'd like to see.... my I think maybe some vampire 69'ing would be interesting from his perspective :)

I should be embarassed at how happy a new chapter of Blood and Lust makes me:-)  This is definitely one of my favorite fan-fics!

The footrub in this chapter was perfect... tisk, tisk - lil' pervy Bella getting all frisky under the covers!

What I would love to see you cover in the future is Edward's reaction to Jacob imprinting on Renesmee and also his reaction to Jacob transforming into a wolf in front of Charlie and thus, letting Charlie into Bella's life as a vampire.  I think that you just write Edeward so well and I love his internal dialog with his conflicted, pervy self.
