WOW! That was an emotional roller coaster. THis is so timely as New Moon is almost out and i like your flashbacks to the period when he left her. Great chapter. sad, miserable BD experiance, but you did a fabulous job getting us into Edwards' head!!!

Something kinda random...back in the day I was a huge 'Toadies' fan (still like them-) and I remember thinking that the song P.K. was very reminisant of a vampire theme. They went on tour in like 96' and I got to see them at the American Theater in ST Louis, got VIP meet and greet tickets. Anyway, they were doing like press junket stuff for local radio stations and one of the interviewers asked about the song being about turning a vampire and they were like, "WTF- we don't know why people would think that-that's so not what the song was about..." I remember thinking, well "you sure fooled the rest of us"

I have always thought it would be amazing for a vampire, but figured it was probably about some pervo stalker killer. But I preferred thinking of vampires because that made the song sexier rather than creepier.
