I've always loved your version of BD and have not changed my opinion. If you feel you are near the end then it looks like you'll be giving us a much taughter, less torturously drawn out denouement than we got from SM (for which I will be ever grateful!)

It is always great to have Edward's perspective on the events in Breaking Dawn. Yes he has the ability to read others minds, but not Bella's. Which during this period of time with hidden message from Alice is good because Aro won't know in the future, but it is frustrating to him now. From Alice's vision of the Volturi coming he knows it's horrific, but doesn't understand why they are coming. Bella due to her insightfulness figures it out before any of the others. Once the note is giving to them from Sam, Bella is the one to notice the paper. It is a page from one of her books at the cottage. In her mind, she knows it has something to do with her. So she takes the path earlier taken by just Alice with Edward. Asks Edward to give her a minute and then 30 seconds alone before he comes inside. He only gives her 13 seconds and then comes into the cottage. All he sees is Bella staring into the fire watching a book burn in the fireplace. He knows she is holding something back from him, just not sure what. Knows they have many plans to accomplish within the next month or so. Emmett had a great idea to have the friends stand up with them to meet the Volturi to make them stop and listen. They don't have an immortal child. She was born from Bella in human form and is half vampire/half human. This has always been a tortured time for me in this book. The feelings from Bella of total hopelessness. The thoughts that nothing will save them. From the chapter looks like Edward is feeling the same way. He finally has grasped the golden ring from the merry-go-round of life only to have it snatched away from him. From this point events speed up, the family separates to gather friends from all around the world. Looking forward to Edward's thoughts and mindreading when the vampires arrive at the house to be witnesses to Reneesme's growth.
Author's Response: Thia is always a difficult time for me in the book, too, which is why I'd originally planned to just recap it in an epilogue, but realized that we really needed EPOV for this. It felt like we owed it to him.

First of all: congrats! I can't wait for your naughty writings either! :D
But, oh, my heart weeped when I read the sparkly part. It just warms me when Edward figures something like that out. When he sees that he's not a monster per se. When he understands that he and Bella are alike and, of course, Bella could never be a monster :D Aww, the fluff!
And hot damn the sex!! Steaming. When Nessie woke up I was freaking out whether she sees them or not. Thankfully she did not see them. But then the cutest: wrestling :D Can't wait when she tells that to Emmett - I'm sure he knows a bit about wrestling, too. And I'll bet that he's not too shy to ask more details about it :D :D :D
Hopefully Edward figures out soon the reason why Bella might keep a secret from him. Hurts to think that he would suspect her for the wrong reasons...
Another great chapter. Hope to see more lemons when Bella learns to flex her inner muscles... I mean her shield ;)

I loved this part:
I was suddenly hit with a new-found respect for Charlie. How he had avoided trying to kill me yet was beyond me, knowing what I did to his daughter on a nightly basis. Just the mere thought of future 'wrestling partners' for my daughter had me quaking in my shoes.

I loved it. I like that the author doesn't stay long on the details, asuming that you have already read the series. I wouldn't want to reread the finer detailes again. But over all, a good read. I also like how Edward and Bella's characters develope with Bella's change to a vampire. Edward strayed alittle from his uptight ploished manner into a more sex craved give it to me kind of a man. Bella just came into who she really was if she wasn't an outsider as a human.
