well i am curious if bella had a child in the twilight series i wonder if rose wouldve been more accepting.....but then agin maybe not..she might've wanted to keep the child safe...hard to say...this is interesting

Interesting way to do the crash...i wonder if ben is going to think edward is a superhero like superman lol...poor mike newton is disliked in every story....i am surprised that edward feels he is in love with bella already

Reviewer: grumpbear (Signed) · Date: May 23, 2010 11:59 AM · On: I Caught Myself

i think that this story is very interesting and different so far then the usual vampire stories of edward...he seems to think more modern then edward did in midnight sun or how most stories portray him,,,,some make him a little too old fashion...i loved how you had him think in the er,,,i see he doesnt suspect that is in fact bella that is doing that to him...i like bellas relationship with charlie though i think if i were charlie i wouldve just told her i wanted her to keep her money so she could afford to save up to buy a house or furniture as she and ben have nothing so far so it wouldnt be abnormal for him to have such a thought.  I have to say i am surprised bella took the truck being a mother as a truck that old isnt built with seat belts and children bens age need to ride in the back seat in car seats which he doesnt have...atleast in canada its like that,,,,great story so far!

Se-quel! Se-quel! Se-quel! Se-quel!

Author's Response:

Noted! I'll meet with the Cullens and Bella and we'll see what we can do! Thanks for reading!

Did you say this was your first story? I have enjoyed every word. Having a little boy in the mix is genius, and if you write a sequel (actually you may have done one already, I haven't looked.) the hardest thing may be to resolve the raising and possible turning of Ben. It would be interesting to explore his views on his childhood and family dynamics.

Its always good to know when to stop, and it feels right to stop here even if we would like more. I love the playfulness we can get from the Cullen characters, one of the reasons I feel Twilight fanfic is superior to a lot else, and you portray that special camaraderie well.

I wrote a little story for my friend and the Cullens pretty much took it over. I even remember apologising to my friend for not writing as Edward refused to tell me what he had been up to! Good job we can forgive Edward anything. lol

I'll go and look for any more writing from you now. Thanks for a really good read!!

Author's Response:

Yes, this is my very first and only story, so far. Your wonderful review actually made me blush! I have not written a sequel yet, I am still just brainstorming ideas because if I do one, I want to do it right and not just for the heck of it. I would like to do one to explore Bella's dilemma of becoming a vampire vs. remaining a human mother with a vampire husband, as well as what Ben might decide to do later in life.

I am one that thinks most of the Cullens are ones who have learned to embrace their ablilities and can joke with each other about what they are at this point in their existance, with a few exceptions *cough*EdwardandRose*cough* I am pleased that you thought I was able to capture that well. I would say that I worked hard at it, but the characters just kind of wrote themselves. They basically wrote the story and told me where they wanted to go...if you had seen my outline, you would see I deviated WAY off of my course originally, but I think that I ended up with a better story than I had originally thought of. And yes, Edward can get away with anything!

Thank you for your wonderful review! You have made my day!

Good well thought out story!  Very original plot!  Can't wait for the sequel

Author's Response:

Thank you very much! I am so glad you enjoyed it...I am brainstorming ideas for the sequel, but as this was written on the fly, I'd like to have a bit more organization this time around!

Reviewer: CrazyLittleWriter (Signed) · Date: May 14, 2010 11:14 AM · On: Epilogue

I haven't stopped reading this fic since I started it!  It is beautifully written from beginning to end the way you portray the characters is truly spellbinding.  I love the way that you finished the story, there is no need to keep it running once you have completed what you set out to do.  Thank you so much for writing this.

Author's Response:

Thank you for your wonderful review! I agree there was no reason to keep going and going. I'm not the Energizer bunny! But thank you again for reading! I will be reading your story too! As soon as I get it beta'd, lol!

Reviewer: aeletha (Signed) · Date: May 13, 2010 01:33 PM · On: Epilogue

I don't usually leave a review.  Not because I don't like the stories but because after I say that I like the story and why what else is left?  Anyway.  I want to comment on your authors note at the end.

I totaly agree with your thoughts here.  You completed the story.  I do not like dragging the story out to fill in the holes. It would never be done.  The extra chapters of happily ever after can be interesting but most of the time I am thinking that the story was finished pages ago and now it is just ridiculous.

There is something to be said for short and sweet, and ending when the story is finished.

Author's Response:

I'm am thrilled that you felt moved enough to leave a review. I am also totally against dragging stories out just because someone wants more reviews or because another plot line has suddenly come to your mind. It just seems to go on and on and that is one of the main reasons I will stop reading a story...I guess it's just one of my pet peeves and so I knew I would not do it with this story, even if people begged me to keep going. Once the plot that was set out to be written has been completed and some bit of finality has been reached, it's time to say aidios. There is no rule that says a sequel or a new story can't be started! Thanks so much for your thoughts...it's always good to know that there are others who think like you do!

I loved the story but I didn't like so much how it ended. :(

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked the story. Was there something specific you didn't like about the ending, or just because it ended with some loose ends? I'd love to hear from you what your thoughts were about it. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know what you thought about it!

Reviewer: Blkjklady21 (Signed) · Date: May 13, 2010 02:44 AM · On: Epilogue

A sequel would be great!!!  I tend to only read completed stories, but feel like this one is unfinished somehow.  The plot is great, but incomplete.

Author's Response:

Yes, I do agree with you...I also feel as if something is missing. A part of me is missing now. It's almost as if the first time I finished Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring (no comparison between the writing, guys!) and the story was not done. I just felt empty. That's how I feel...so as long as the characters and me can agree on a story line! Thanks so much for reading...hopefully we're not done yet!

Reviewer: laleangel (Signed) · Date: May 12, 2010 12:09 PM · On: Epilogue

I'm one of the people saying WTF lol Loved this story and I think that it deserves a sequel.  There are too many unanswered questions that I REEEEEEALLY want answers to, so please write a sequel.

Thanks fvor sharing this with us.

P.S I adore Ben he is too cute for words!!

Lee Anne

Author's Response:

Haha! I had not even contemplated a sequel until one day a few weeks ago, it just hit me that I did not have to tie up every loose end all neat and tidy, but that I could leave it open and see where things took me. I would really like to write a sequel to this as long as the characters are willing...I don't want to write one just to write it, but to tell a story. Thanks so much for reading and for your kind words! And I'm glad you liked Ben...if you see him again, he's liable to be a bit more troublesome. My teenager has been as smart-assed as ever and is giving me some inspiration!

Reviewer: dougsgirl (Signed) · Date: May 12, 2010 06:08 AM · On: Epilogue

I feel like this isn't finished. A sequel needs to be done. It was an excellent story and I loved how you put everything together but I feel lost now. I think that you could do something like 5 years later or something and fill in the gaps as you go. I have put you on my author alert and hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks :)

Author's Response:

Thank you! I also feel a bit lost without anything to write! I like your idea and it is something I have played around with a bit in my head. Once I get caught up on some of my beta'ing duties, I am hoping to sit down and do some brainstorming and see where Edward and Bella think we should go from here. I appreciate your kind words...you will hear from me in the future. I have enjoyed this process too much to just stop at the one story!

Reviewer: writz (Signed) · Date: May 11, 2010 07:09 PM · On: Epilogue

Thanks for writing.  I would definitely like if you wrote a sequel.  Hopefully we'll be hearing from you again soon.

Thanks!

Author's Response:

Thank you for reading! I already have some ideas swirling around in my head so we'll see if I can pull them together and put down on paper. Thank you for your wonderful review!

SEQUEL

Author's Response:

Thanks for the vote! I'll see if the characters are ready to make a encore...

Great ending. I kinda like not knowing what she'll decide to do. I can form my own opinion on what happens next.

Author's Response:

Thanks! It is kind of interesting to leave it so that each reader can draw their own conclusions about what happens next. Thanks for reading!

sequel sequel

Author's Response:

I will see what I can do! Depends on if Edward and Bella cooperate...

Reviewer: The Old One (Signed) · Date: May 11, 2010 07:52 AM · On: Epilogue

I thought you did a great job with your storyline, and it should probably remain there, as was your original feeling. Don't feel pressured to string out a whole story based on something you're not really feeling, is my humble opinion.  And the second thing is, a sequel would necessarily revolve too much around the kid, and frankly, the fandom doesn't really want to go there.  Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide!

Author's Response:

Yeah, I'm waiting to see if the story comes to me before I decide anything, although the characters have been talking to me! But I do agree with you that if a sequel is done, Ben will continue to be a secondary character as Twilight is a love story between Edward and Bella, and that's what I loved about it. I don't see myself straying too far from the basic foundation of that. Thanks for reading and for your kind words!

Reviewer: AussieECfan (Signed) · Date: May 11, 2010 01:39 AM · On: Epilogue

*sniffles* I adored this story - so happy to see the ending, and no, I didn't mind that you didn't have Bella turned at the end. You never denied that it was the path she is going to take, but for the resolution of the story you intended, we didn't necessarily need to know the ins'n'outs of her transformation. Quite clearly Edward loves her, is devoted to her and wants their own 'forever'. :)

Author's Response:

*hugs AussieECfan in comfort* It will be okay. And I'm glad you were okay with the ending. There just wasn't time to go through all of the complexities of a vampire transformation in this story, although it did need to be touched on as it is Twilight fanfic. Thanks so much for reading!

Reviewer: Tigress21 (Signed) · Date: May 10, 2010 07:48 PM · On: Prologue

Haha...I know where Pulaski road is and the Kangaroo Express is off there. It was really weird reading that, knowing this is in Jacksonville, Florida..my aunt lives off that exit...

Author's Response:

Oh my gosh, i bet that was totally weird! I did a lot of research for that chapter as I wanted it to be correct. How strange that it would be the exit your aunt lives off of! At least you know I didn't just pull it out of nowhere!

Reviewer: Sunshine72 (Signed) · Date: May 10, 2010 05:56 PM · On: Epilogue

I liked your story.  I loved how Edward took care of Eric.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I think that many of us, especially if we've been hurt in some way, have a fantasy of that knight in shining armor sweeping in and saving us from the creep. I found writing that part a somewhat cathartic experience. I am so glad you enjoyed the story. I appreciate you reading and reviewing.

Charlie is the greatest and what a relief for Bella to be aware from that a**hole

This is really good. Poor Anna and Ethan and lucky for her that Rebecca had contacts to help her out of this mess. An abusive partner is torment 24/7 and not a good environment to raise a child.

I think I'd like to see a sequel as I've enjoyed this story very much.  Thank you

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you've enjoyed the story. The characters are already busy telling me that they have more to say, so we'll see if I can get it down on paper well enough to post. thanks so much for reading!

Reviewer: Rosalynn (Signed) · Date: May 10, 2010 04:03 PM · On: Epilogue

good job, although i am rather sad to see this be the end. I understand not wanting to change plot lines and have it go on forever. I do the same thing. A lot of people wanted me to continue two of my three stories but the plot was done so I ended them. So because of that, i will respect your descion and not BEG for more of this story. If you decide on a sequel I will be happy to read it(and make you a banner :) )

Great Job

Author's Response:

It was very sad for me to write the last chapter. That was kind of surprising, but I didn't realize until then how invested into this story and the characters I was. Right now, they are already talking to me about possible plot lines, so you might very well get your wish! And if so, be watching for an email from me requesting a banner. Hopefully this one will go a lot easier, haha!
