I just want him to die already! Does that make me a bad person? Wanting someone to die? But, in my defense, he deserves it!
I have a question, though. Beccause Bella has a kid and in her twenties - I'm assuming - does that make Edward older as well. Is he the seventeen year old boy in Meyer's books, or is he older as well?
Author's Response: No, that does not make you a bad person at all...at least, not in my book! He is the monster, after all!
And to answer your question, you are right. Bella is around 25 years old. Edward was around 25 or 26 when he was changed, which is why both of them in this story are more mature and not as prone to the teenage emotions as they were in the books. So you will see them react a little differently; it's not that I want them OOC, but it's just how I think they might react if they were older. Great question and I'm happy to clear that up!

Short, but good and plot developy! I like authors who aren't afraid to get to the point. What I'm wondering, though, is will Edward change Bella? Will she let him, or even want to, considering Ben? How are they going to end up?
Author's Response: Thanks! I don't like to drag stuff out too long, I feel a story looses it's oomph if you take too long to get to the good stuff. I know I lose patience if it takes too long. Captivating fic. I love how the Cullens are protrayed in this fic and that Edward has a meaningful job. That he is more compromising, rational, and less emo.
And Ben is such a wonderful child. It is nice that Esme and Rosalie get some contentment from being with him.
And Eric needs to die, slowly and very painfully. How he brutalise Bella and traumatise Ben was bad before but to think of killing a toddler cruelly, for no other reason than to make his mum pay and soothe his ego, is horribly wrong. Again, I want Edward to let loose his most base vampiric insticts on Eric, and left nothing of him to be identified, after introducing him to what fear really is, and making him beg for death.
Also hope that Edward and Bella are able to get physical:)

Oh, I think Eric has messed with the wrong man, now. And to think that he thinks Bella belongs to him?! I think Edward will certainly have some choice thoughts on that!
I do hope that Edward is able to keep her safe; I assume she doesn't die, die - but if he would have to turn her, that might be difficult for her to be a mom to lil Ben. BTW, I like the name Ethan better :)

Ahhhhh fucking stupid bitch mother! Here goes the start of Alices vision coming to fruition. Poor Bella, I can't even imagine the terror she felt in that moment. You conveyed very well the frantic feeling she had to escape from Eric. Fucking bastard, I hope Edward eats him soon. Looking forward to more and hateing that this fic is near the end.
Author's Response: Yeah, poor Carolyn is one of those mothers who has total blinders on when it comes to the type of person her son is. We've all seen those moms. But she does have a few suspicions about his original story, but of course, she's going to be loyal to him.
I'm glad you were able to pick up on Bella's feelings. I tried very hard to pull the panic and frantic feelings she would have in that moment into words and I hope they did come through. Remember, she's so freaked that she's not going to be thinking completely straight. That's why she thinks she needs to run instead of thinking "oh, my boyfriend's a vampire, he can kick Eric's ass around the world and back with one hand tied behind his back!" And that mind set will come through in the next chapter as well.
Glad to see you are still enjoying this! I also hate to see it come to an end as I have been enjoying this so much, but I don't want to drag it on and on and on. I don't like that. But we still have several more chapters to go!

Yay Bella for not being terrified. I am so very glad Edward has no intention of leaving, even if it is due to Alices vision. I think Bellas reaction was very believable, I mean she's already had to confront so much in her life, especially with Edward that like she said what happened was bound to happen at some point.
I think it was great she went back to go talk to Jasper, I loved their interaction. Keep up the good work and looking forward to the next chapter.
