Excellent chapter.  Exciting and somewhat satisfying to see Eric in this much trouble, and the best moments of him facing hell before  his last breath are still to come.

So, what should Edward do to Eric? If Edward could read Eric's mind as to what he was going to do to Bella and her son, then he should do the exact same thing to him, after making him feel fear like he never did before!!! 

And I am glad that Bella is going to get her chance to deal with the piece of filth.   And I am not sorry to see Edward destroy Eric, afterall it could be self defence, as Eric tried to kill him, and had not for the fact that he is dead already, he would have succeeded.

You may think that I have bloodlust too, but I can't wait for Edward, and his brothers to slowly  unmake Eric, piece by piece.

Edward definately has the upper hand as he will be able to read Eric's mind and know what he fears the most. We'll see if he plays on that. And Bella needs this chance to face Eric and say everything she has never had the chance to say...she needs that closure so she can move on. I'm anxious for Eric to get what's coming to him as well...Edward is only defending Bella and Ben, plus as you said, Eric did try to kill him as well. We'll see if he is able to reign in his vampire nature somewhat or if he allows his instincts to take over.

 Great update.  It is great to see the Cullens protecting thier own and that Bella finally accepts that Edward loves her and Ben.  Love Jasper the strategy man.

I so hope that Edward and his brothers deliver Bella from the evil that is Eric.  I want him to die so badly I can taste it.

Reading about Eric makes my blood run cold.  He's just so crazy and creepy.  I knew Bella would try to pull some self sacrificial bullshit to protect Ben.  Obviously she doesn't realize how scary and deadly Rosalie can be.  I've watched my cat play with a mouse and toss it around before he kills it.  I would love to see Emmett do a little of that to Eric although Carlisle probably won't let him.

oh, so many things; where to begin!

First.  I really really really really really really hate Eric.  I guess that means you have done an outstanding job painting his character portrait!

Next, I bit back a giggle in this very intense chapter as Edward is assuring Bella of her right to a happy-ever-after;  Edward! oh, the irony!  Who knew Edward had it in him!

And, I am letting you know that the highlight of my summer will be when (hopefully) Eric gets turned into a human football by the Cullens.  Of course, I am hoping for Edward to have a cathartic release for his pent-up frustration and rip Eric apart; however, there is a part of me that would love to observe Rosaline have a turn at him if he went after Ben.

I cannot wait to place my vote!  Congratulations on the nomination and for such an insanely wonderful story!

Thank you! I'm so glad that you hate Eric with the fire of a thousand suns...that's what I was going for. I want everyone to hate him with all they have! That was the main reason I made him an OC and did not use a character from the book!
