I didn't even realize I was holding my breath until the text started to get a little fuzzy (you might say I pulled a Bella!). Of course I love this chapter and I love this story and I love you ... but I think you knew that.
I like that Bella got to play a little part in her own rescue by stalling James.
Please do make good on your threat to update soon ... this is one of my faves.

I just discovered this story and I love it!! Fabulous story and writing. Can't wait to read more. Oh you are evil to have left it on such a cliffie. I'm desperate to read what happens next - does Edward save Bella or not?!
I so hope that Edward DOES NOT forgive Alice for her little stunt. This is all her fault. James would not know about Bella if she hadn't opened her bog mouth. And things were going so WELL for Edward and Bella (anguished moan). They had their beautiful, sweet moment in his office and now this (grr). I hope Edward kicks Alice's ass six ways to Sunday! Post next chappie soon...

I'm really enjoying this so far... it's very well written and is an intriguing idea. I like that you're incorporating Edward's past in a way that more fully defines who he is overall. You've obviously done a lot of background work, and the effort shows! Good job! Can't wait for more!

I love how this chapter was written. SM's characters seemed a bit flat at times, and you have given them all unique voices and flaws. I really like how Alice's desperation got in the way of her Sight, as well as the insight and details you give to the backgrounds of all the characters, specifically Jame's clan in this chapter. It's one of those things that is so different from the books and Meyer's writing, yet I still find myself nodding at how it completely makes sense for both the characters and the story. I can't wait for chapter 10 and 11(and some big bad save the patients drama)!

Came across your story today and all I can say is wow! Completely fell in love with the style, the amazing references (must be old, because I don't feel like I need your cliff notes- but they are astounding! You really have done your homework!) and the and characterizations.
Now seriously addicted to your story and full intend to check out eveything you have written so far. I can't wait to see what else you have in store for this fic!

i just read all the chapters and i must say i really like it! i love edward as a 'real' doctor and i love his insight and the flashbacks and that he's kinda trying to redeem himself...honestly, i think that is/was a great idea! i'm also in love with b - she's just so cute and lovely...yeah and a little fighter - i like it that she gives e contra and says whats on her mind. and even though i usually adore alice...i hate to say that she's not sooo much my favorite in this one but i guess that's because i always saw her as e's best friend...not just meddling with his life and making fun of him but also taking care of him, comforting him, understanding him better than anybody else...so it's been kinda frustrating to read her parts (i mean rosalie i get - she's kinda like i had her in my head)...but that's - like i said - really my 'fault' since i just have a different pic of her in my head...
anyway, it's a great story with an interessting and captivating plot!

Holy HELL!!!!!! I don't even know what to say! Another fucking amazing chapter, for sure. Mick was quite interesting. Hmmm....don't have many thoughts on him atm other than he was odd.
James, Victoria, and Laurent...Holy Jesus! Sooo...is James fully gay in this story or just enjoys the power? I'm leaning towards option number two because I'm guessing he has slept with Victoria at one time or another for her to believe that he is her mate. Interesting.
Very anxious to see what happens with the whole hunting senario! YIKES! Update soon! I love this story!
And only 12 chapters? Boo. Although, I understand. The length and content of your chapters totally makes up for the amount of chapters. I will just be sad to see it end!

I am new-to your story and I have to say you are an amazing writer. This is superb-and I'm not trying to kiss ass! I love that you show the evil side of Edward-and that you have changed some of the elements of SM's story-and it's all good! I am anxious to see how the upcoming confrontations play out. I love this! the amount of research you put into this-are you a published author (as in, one who is actually paid!)?
