Reviews For Leah's Sunrise
Reviewer: Kolene (Signed) · Date: August 05, 2009 09:07 PM · On: Making Decisions is Hard

Sam had better be right. If not Seth is going to feel like shit for telling Jacob any of that.  Dad needs to tell her to go back to Jacob and live a long life and be happy for once.  I wish I could give a higher rating than a 10.

Author's Response:

Poor Seth. He's such a little optimist. I feel for him, because I've got that "everything is going to work out because it has to" view too. And it's a pain in the ass.

As far as the rating thing goes, I'm just happy to have you reading. And I didn't even know the ratings went to 10. Shows how much I know about math...

suspense! Argh, you're killing me!

Author's Response:

Just hang on. We're almost to the end!

Reviewer: ravenwhitlock33 (Signed) · Date: August 05, 2009 03:46 PM · On: Making Decisions is Hard

OMG!!!!  Please do not let Leah die.  I love the fact that Jacob took back his command and that Harry is at the last part of the chapter with her.  Anyway, thank you, write more, and please post soon!!!

Author's Response:

Having Jacob take back his command was one of the hardest things I ever had to write. I know this chapter has like...zero humor, and that's almost uncomfortable for me. I love having humor. So to shift gears and be all serious and depressing...was really difficult.

Reviewer: kaydub (Signed) · Date: August 05, 2009 03:21 PM · On: Making Decisions is Hard

good chapter. can't wait to read leah's chat with her dad.

Author's Response:

Talking to someone you thought you'd never see again = Priceless. I hope you guys enjoy the next chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Reviewer: mykale (Signed) · Date: August 05, 2009 02:26 PM · On: Making Decisions is Hard

OMG.

LOVE IT,

SHE NEEDS THIS TALK WITH HER DAD.

PLEASE GIVE JACOB HIS HAPPY ENDING :[

Author's Response:

I have been waiting this whole freaking story to bring Harry back into it. I can't wait for yall to get the next chapter.

Reviewer: JaneJoke (Signed) · Date: August 05, 2009 08:32 AM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

Are you kidding!? You'd have to change the title of this fic if there isn't a happy ending! "Leah's Sunrise" just sounds too hopeful! Anyways, YES, please let Leah and Jacob get their happily ever after!!!!!!!! The poor girl needs a break!

;)

Author's Response:

Indeed. I have really put her through a lot of crap in this story.

And I believe that you guys get the reason behind the name of the story in chapter 41. Hope to have it up soon! I've had so much fun writing this, but I'm ready for it to conclude.

dont lett leah die plz plz NOOO

Author's Response:

I'll definitely keep your vote in mind!

Reviewer: mimitwilight (Signed) · Date: August 03, 2009 02:02 PM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

happy ending please!!!!!! leah's already been through so much, she deserves it :) please dont kill her! she has to make it or else she wouldnt be the first werewolf to survive vampire venom =D i love your story i read it all in just 1 day (when there were only 32 chapters) you are an amazing writer, keep it up!

Author's Response:

The way I look at it, she survived the venom first time around. It's just come back to bite her in the ass...or technically, her brain and heart.

And as with anyone who read all of my zany antics all in one day, I am very impressed and flattered. It's very humbling to know that people find my work so interesting. Thank you.

jacob. leah happy ending... NOW!

LOL.

Author's Response:

Duly noted. I'm starting to see a theme here with these reviews.

Reviewer: LondonCalling (Signed) · Date: August 02, 2009 06:41 PM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

OF COURSE LEAH NEEDS TO GET BETTER AND HER AND JACOB NEED TO GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER AND END HAPPY .

Author's Response:

Ha! I guess this is because of the fact that I work at an animal hospital, but reading your review, I had this mental image of Leah and Jacob actually gathering shit. Ha. Ha. Ha. Yeah, it was a loooong day at work today and I've gone completely off the deep end. The important thing is: I got your "happy ending" vote.

Reviewer: mrsgunsage (Signed) · Date: August 02, 2009 10:38 AM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

Aw, don't kill Leah off.

Author's Response:

So far, I'm loving all of these "don't kill her" reviews.

Reviewer: twichick1772 (Signed) · Date: August 02, 2009 09:10 AM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

Happily ever after. Pretty Please.

Author's Response:

Love the "pretty please".

Author's Response:

Aw, thank you. I've never been number 1 at something before. It's kinda cool.

Reviewer: Dracona (Signed) · Date: August 02, 2009 06:08 AM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

Happy End!!! Leah has suffered enough and there has to be something good in her life (and Jacob had enough misfortune with girls, too)

Author's Response:

"Jacob had enough misfortune with girls, too"

God, isn't that the truth? lol.

Reviewer: cotton3434 (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2009 10:17 PM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

Okay... just read all 39 chapters (was bored and procrastinating), so here's my thoughts as to the story so far:

Awesome. Don't think I've ever laughed so much while reading something - especially not a Twilight fanfic... It's really great.

My vote is go with the happy ending. A bittersweet, tragic end to a story I actually care about (kudos to you for that - didn't think I'd give a shit about anything Twilight related ever again) would annoy the hell out of me - not that I won't read it once you post it.

Author's Response:

First of all, it's a pleasure to have you as a reader, especially since you're not that huge of a Twilight fan anymore. To know that my story captured your attention and made you laugh (Yay! I love to make others laugh!) makes me feel giddy. (God, I've got to stop saying "giddy". It makes me sound like my Grandma!). I'm also thoroughly impressed that you were able to read the entire story. My attention span is that of a six month old Labrador Retriever puppy, so I have respect for people who can sit still long enough to read anything (especially something as kooky as my crazy ramblings).

Thank you for reading and for taking the time to review. It really means a lot to me.

Reviewer: kaydub (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2009 10:15 PM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

i vote for the happy ending. leah deserves it.

so will emily's blood help leah fight the venom because it's not wolf blood?

Author's Response:

From what I could gather in the series, vampire venom is possibly one of the deadliest things out there. It would definitely destroy Emily's blood too. But...that could have been an interesting route to go. Leah saved Emily with her blood, so it would be an ironic twist of fate if Emily could save Leah. I will say that when I was originally writing the story, that was one of several ideas that I had. But, of course, the scientific part of me screamed at me, "Human blood versus vampire venom? Venom will always win. Unless that human is Keith Richards. Cuz nothing can kill Keith Richards." And it's humorous for me to hear that scientific part of my brain...because I suck at science. lol.

Reviewer: taliatwinkle (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2009 06:26 PM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

if leah dies...so do you....Totally kidding, i just really would hate to see Jacob lose yet another love of his life. That would suck for him. And i really like the way you wrote their character, they're kinda pullin at my heart strings, and if you make me cry, ill find you...again, totally kidding. love your fiction. i think you did a great portrayal and stayed true to the characters but made them you're own at the same time.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you like the way I've written Leah and Jake. It was fun to read into their personalities and then play around with them.

As for your death threats...if you feel confident that you could make it past my large watchdog, then I say bring it on. But I have to warn you, he's a vicious 80 lb killer that...is climbing in my lap at this very moment to escape a 5-lb kitten. *sigh*, my dog is a wimp...

Reviewer: andie72 (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2009 04:36 PM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

I have enjoyed reading this story.  You have definitely kept me guessing with all the stuff they both have been through.  Please let them have their happy ever after.  I really would like to read the one where the girl ends up with the right boy and they ride off into the sunset...happy and in love.

Author's Response:

I love the fact that everyone here is so optimistic and wants the happy ending. And hopefully, I'll keep all of you guessing until the end.

Reviewer: Waldinando (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2009 04:26 PM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

Let the poor kids get their happily ever after... they've been through enough shit. :P

Love this story!!!

Author's Response:

Lol, a few days ago, I was re-reading some of my chapters, and was like, "Wow...I'm a bitch. I really put them through a lot of shit..."

Reviewer: Libra9212 (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2009 01:33 PM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

Ill take "See Leah and Jacob ride into the sunset and get their happily ever after" for 500 Alex.lol

I just wanted to put that out of everyones stories.I think yours is the best because not many people write about Leah and not many people have me on tthe floor laughing my ass off.I just wanted to tell you how I appreciate your story.

And with that:keep going

Author's Response:

Excellent. A jeopardy reference. Maybe if I spent more time watching that show, I'd do better in school. No one ever told me college was so freaking hard.

Wow, my story's the best? Aw, someone's sucking up. lol. j/k. And it is my pleasure to send you into gigglefits on the ground. Whee. Comedy is fun!

I really do appreciate your compliments. It's awesome to know that I'm actually good at something!

Reviewer: Kolene (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2009 01:02 PM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

They both deserve to be happy and not just a temporary thing. I love your story and it is nice that Leah has a story of her own.

Author's Response:

I like to think that they deserve happiness too. I really do like for people to be happy.

I'm glad that you like my writing. It has been entertaining and enlightening to write Leah's POV. And to think...this all started because one of my friend's told me that she wanted me to do something in Leah's POV. I never could turn down a dare...lol.

Reviewer: mellyfrisco6 (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2009 12:12 PM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

I'm a hopeless romantic girl so here I am, asking for the happy ending. It would break my heart to see Jacob heartbroken once again.

Author's Response:

I know what you mean. I don't like to think of anyone as being heartbroken. I am way too softhearted.

Reviewer: mareimbrium (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2009 11:28 AM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

Happily ever after!

Author's Response:

I'm a sucker for fairy-tale endings as well.

Reviewer: mareimbrium (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2009 11:14 AM · On: We're Not Done Yet

I can't believe this story doesn't have more reviews. =(  Keep up the good work, still laughing and crying my ass off!

Author's Response:

Hopefully laughing more than crying. I don't like to make people cry...unless they're laughing so hard that they're crying. That kinda crying is okay.

Reviewer: ravenwhitlock33 (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2009 10:14 AM · On: Dogs aren't the only ones who play poker

PLEASE  Let Leah and Jacob have their happy ending.....  They soooooo deserve it - also love the fact that all the venom wasn't sucked out by Jacob - I adore the fact that she is thinking of Seth and auctually showing her vulnerability.  Thank you, read lots, write often, and post as soon as you can!!!

Author's Response:

Yeah, Leah always seemed to be the "protective" older sister. I had to bring that into this story.

Ha, I'd say that I write more than often. My mind never sleeps.
