Great chapter, yet again! I love the bonding time with her "sisters", and the the fact that Charlie is going to go out on a date with Sue. And I have to say, I'm glad Renee is gone. Good riddance to her!
I am sorry that we will have to wait so long for the next update, but it's always worth the wait! Have a great vacation, you deserve it!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm really glad that you are enjoying it. Honestly, I was glad to see the back end of Renée too... she just too selfish to be around Bella.
If all the planets align I MAY be able to get the next chapter up before I go away (we don't leave til Sunday/Monday) but I really wouldn't count on it! (And I can't WAIT for vacation. I really need it!)

I just found your fic and all I can say is wow! This must be hard to write because it is difficult to read. You're doing a great job. Rosalie was very in character in this chapter; supportive but still Rose.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I really enjoy writing this (most of the time) as a way to explore Bella's character. I'm glad that you appreciate that Rosalie is still Rosalie... it's fun to keep her in character while having her be friends with Bella. Hopefully you enjoy the rest!

Charlie coming out to reassure her about driving by telling her the story about learning how to ride a bike was perfection. I love Charlie. I'm surprised Alice or Edward didn't think that she might have trouble driving again. Edward needs to stop lying to Bella ASAP. He should know that that's what's really going to make her angry
Author's Response: I'm really glad you enjoyed it - it was one of my favourite moments to write, and my beta loved it! Alice did see that Bella would have trouble, but saw that Charlie would deal with it, so let them have a moment together. (Sometimes when you are writing it's hard to figure out all the things you should include and all the things that are kind of a given.)
Edward does need to stop lying to Bella. He just needs to learn things the hard way sometimes. She will indeed be furious at being lied to.

Another great chapter!! I love the bonding with the family! Will there be bonding with the boys?
Author's Response: Glad that you enjoyed it. There's not much upcoming bonding left, as we move towards the end. The plot thickens in the next chapter, which is EPOV.

Thank you for sharing your writing gift. This story is really well-written, well thought out. and I cannot wait to see what happens next! Again, thank you very very much!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm really glad that you enjoyed it, I know it's not for everyone. Hopefully the next chapter will be up this week, but it's being difficult so no guarantees.

This has been such an excellent story. You have handled an extremely sensitive subject very well and in great context to these characters. I have been so engrossed in reading it I nearly cried when I saw there wasn't another chapter. Can't wait to see how it continues and where you take it from here. Really excellent work.
Author's Response: I think I'm blushing! I'm really glad that you have enjoyed it up to this point, and I hope that you continue to enjoy it as we continue. I am always pleased to hear that I am handling the subject matter with sensitivity as it's one of my major goals in writing it.
Thanks for reviewing!

Oh, Edward, will you never learn? LOL.I think he should castrate Him! Great story, looking forward to the next chapter,as always... :)
Author's Response: Well, hopefully he will learn eventually. I'm amazed by how violent my reviewers are! lol Thanks for reading and reviewing, it means the world to me!

I like how you tied Bella's querks to something from her pass it all made so much sence you are a really good writer I found myself drawn in and hooked as I began reading this story today can not wait to read your other chapters.
Author's Response: Thanks, I am trying for realism (well, as much as possible within a story with vampires.. lol) Thanks for reading and reviewing!

i like it keep it come in plz
Author's Response: Will do! Thanks for reviewing!

Very good; you are handling this sensitive subject very well. Does not surprise me at all that Edward would go after the creep. I will be curious to see how he wiggles his way around this promise. Update soon :)
Author's Response: Yeah, Edward really would like to kill Steven, and is going to have to be creative. He has a plan. I always update as soon as possible!

Edward has found out Steven's last name, I'm interested to see what will happen next. Edward should castrate the child molester.
Author's Response: I won't spoil by telling you what Edward has planned, but I really hope that you enjoy it. Thanks for reviewing!

Fate really wants Bella changed. Lol
Author's Response: Yeah, seems that way doesn't it? lol Thanks for reviewing!

Yeah, a whole lot of hurt can be done with out killing them.
Author's Response: lol. Edward agrees.

Heh...I like that realization. The whole time I was thinking, "Well, just frame him for something so he gets put away, or something! Or find evidence of other victims!" Glad to see Edward's not letting that scum off scot-free!
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoy Edward's realization. My beta was horrified when she learned that my original outline did not include dealing with Steven. Edward agrees with all of you, so... there are plans.

I like the idea of Edward making Steven's life miserable without killing. Maybe Steven would think of it as karma for all the bad he has done...I love Renee in this. I always thought that Renee in Meyer's books got too much credit.
Author's Response: I'm glad that you are enjoying Renée. I think part of the reason she comes off so well in the books is that in the first person from Bella's POV we get only what she is willing to say. The only chance we would have had to see them interact was the Florida trip in Eclipse, and ... it got cut.
Edward has plans. I won't spoil by telling you what. But trust me, Edward has plans.

I liked how I felt the awkwardsness in the air with Rose not just a perfect speech like usual, good stuff! I am for sure gonna keep on reading!
Author's Response: I'm glad to hear that you plan to keep reading! That conversation with Rosalie was so hard to write... Bella is a hard character to get to fight with someone! Rosalie and Bella are working on being friends, but it is still awkward, and is going to still be awkward from time to time.

Excellently done. I laughed really hard during the Emment chapter. i think you are handling a sensitive subject well. Keep up the good work. Update soon. :)
Author's Response: Thanks for your review! I love Emmett, he's so caring and crazy all at the same time, and he's an excellent way to lighten the mood.
I'm glad you think I'm handling the subject well, I know it's a sensitive topic and I keep that in mind while I'm writing.
I'm working on an update, but summer is crazy. I will get it done eventually. ;)

What a complete dope!!!!! Seriously!! grr... parents like Renee should be shot... I get to go to work and see the results of her kind of 'parenting' far too often....
Author's Response: I know... she's a piece of work, although she genuinely means well. Bella loves her though.

excellent chapter! i absolutey love this story. i am so glad edward basically yelled at renee, she needed it. even if she didn't seem to take anything away from it. i can not wait for chapter 10! please hurry!!!! xoxo Melissa
Author's Response: Yeah, Edward's been holding that in for awhile, and it's a shame that Renee can't seem to figure Edward out!
Chapter 10 will be awhile... I only just started it. Sorry! Hang in there, hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Was she lying about the two way mirror room and stuff?
Author's Response: Nope, everything Renee said was 100% what happened. Whether it's realistic I don't really know, but it fit the story and was necessary so in it went.
Thanks for reviewing!

Isn't Edward always up to something? At least Renee spent the money on Bella as opposed to, I don't know...underwater basket weaving lessons...which would not have surprised me. Actually, as much as I want to be mad at Renee ( I really do enjoy disliking Bella's parents when I read fanfic, I don't know why...), I think her response is pretty normal. What parent knows the right thing to do in a situation like this...it's always a horrible, traumatic mess for everyone. Anyway, great as usual, thanks for the update.............1
Author's Response: Well, yeah, I suppose. He has trouble sharing information with Bella if he thinks it will cause her stress. (That's a hint.) Yes, Renee did use the money for Bella, but didn't really think ahead. lol at underwater basket weaving.
I try to write Renee as realistically as possible within the frame of a fictional character. She's no where near perfect, but she's not a villian either. Just kind of clueless. And Bella does really love her and wanted to forgive her, so she did. You are right, in that there was no right answer for Renee when Bella was being molested, and that it was going to be painful for everyone regardless.

Amazing story, keeping me guessing! I can't wait to read the next installment. Well done, and thank you for writing!
Author's Response: Glad that I am keeping you guessing. You are welcome for it, and thanks for reviewing... they make my day!

Oh another layer revealed- Renee really does suck doesn't she?? Me thinks that the Cullen's are looking for Steven and said pervert should be quite concerned... A little revenge for Bella?
btw- I adore ADORE how you have written Emmett's and Jasper's adoration for their new little sister- its too damn cute.
Author's Response: Yeah, Renee has some issues with responsibility. Not going to comment on your guess, other than to say that you should definitely keep reading!
I love Emmett and Jasper, and when I need to lighten things up a bit, they are the first two I turn to. It helps that being with his "brothers" helps to lighten up Edward too!

Eeek. That was a pretty heavy chapter, huh? I liked it, though. It was very well written. I can't wait for updates!!
Author's Response: Yeah, this was probably the heaviest chapter, luckily things will be lighter for the next while.
