Great update! I am relieved that Nessie is going to be ok (right?). Seeing Edward in dr mode was amazing.
Great twist with the paternity. I remembered after reading this, Bella mentioned Nessie's hair color. What a unique way to bring this family together.

Omg Edward's her father?! Wow. Going by their physical features, you could assume they were related but I assumed Eric was Ness' dad so Edward being her dad wouldn't fit your story.
Glad Ness is okay. Hope she gets well soon. Are Edward and Bella going to tell Ness that he's her real dad? That could be hard to explain...

What a bombshell! How did people even postulate the idea that Edward could be the father? Were there really clues before? If he really is the father then that is awesome! Really, what are the chances? Which leads to the other question of how many other kids does he have wandering around out there?
Author's Response: There really were clues: Nessies Hair color, her talent for piano, the fact the Eric had radiation and cancer when he was a teen (the radiation and chemo generally wreaks havoc on fertility), the strong and comfortable connection between he and Ness, those were most of them. And the chances are (jokingly) a bazillion in one, as for your last question, that will be addressed in a later chapter. :)
