wonderful chapter, glad to see that things are starting to progress for Bella and Edward. I can't wait to see what she reveals to him, or how he reacts to her past. I especially can't wait to see where they go from the "talk", and what Happens when the Carlisle family dots are connected.

Please don't keep us waiting to long for the next update.

Author's Response:

I like that; "the Carlisle Family dots" hehe

I certainly will not make you wait for too long before the next chapter is up. It's nearly ready to be beta'd...

Thanks for reading and reviewing! Stay tuned!

I'm glad they got to have that kiss, even if it was short, it was still sweet.

Poor Bella, the memories that were pulled up by that song... Edward didn't know and wanted to do something nice for her.

Author's Response:

That's exactly it; Edward was trying to be all romantic and that choice of song ruined it... :P

I felt the kiss was definitely necessary, and a long time coming in my opinion, but I didn't want them to rush into something like that...

Thank you for sharing your insights. The next chapter should be ready soon.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I am anxious to read about the details Bella will tell Edward about her past with James.

Author's Response:

The details are definitely coming. The next chapter should be up soon. It's ready to be beta'd...real life gets in the way sometimes...but not to worry.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Great chapter!  Poor Edward! He had no idea about the song!

Author's Response:

I know...and he's so selfless that he felt horrid about it! urgh. (I wrote him that way, and it bugs me!)

thanks for reviewing and reading!

Augh! Too short!

I miss your story, and it's good to see you again. Oh dear... of course Edward wouldn't know, but he must be feeling awful about it. And he's going to feel a whole lot more after Bella tells him about her past. But he does have a right to know now - at the very least they're friends, at the cusp of something more.

Awesome update!

Author's Response:

I agree that Edward will be feeling awful about things in the next chapter, but it'll be more of a relief to the both of them to get things out in the open...

Thanks for your kind words! They are appreciated, truly!

Thanks for the new chapter!  Wow, of all the songs in the whole world, what're the chances?  Poor Edward, glad she explained it to him somewhat.  Looking forward to next chapter so he can really know what he's up against!

Author's Response:

I know, right? He'll explain his musical selection in the next chapter. And I like your choice of words: "so he can really know what he's up against", because that's exactly it; he's fighting against her past to get into her heart... so true!

Thanks for reading and sharing your insights! ^_^

Author's Response:

thanks!! I seem to have a Husky fetish as well, so it was a no-brainer to choose that breed as his dog. They just strike me as a noble breed. They just walk with grace and pride...don't ask...that's how they come across to me...lol

Thanks for your review and for reading !

yea my trigger is a certain type of cologne he wore, I smell it and I black out. Still almost 18 yrs later I still black out. Good luck with the next chapters

Author's Response:

I had heard of that sort of thing happening. It's a defense mechanism of the brain to block out traumatic experiences...sometimes it's a godsend...

I'm so sorry for the pain you endured. Thank you sincerely for reading. I know this subject is touchy, but hopefully it doesn't affect you in that way...I would understand completely if you didn't want to read this story, but it means a lot to me that you are.

Take care,

Great chapter!  I hope Edward doesn't fear playing music for her again,...just not that song!

Can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

Thanks for reading! I don't think he'll be playing for her for a while yet, but eventually, he'll get over it...I just know it! :)

Thanks for the review! The next chapter should be up pretty soon...it's nearly done!

Great chapter...could Edward be anymore perfect?  I'm really glad you're building up their relationship slowly, especially after all Bella has gone through, and all she has to go through to heal herself emotionally

Author's Response:

That's my plan...it would be completely unrealistic if they jumped right into a relationship, just like that. She still has to heal properly...however, I do plan to move things along soon...

Thanks for reading, reviewing, and sharing your thoughts. It means a lot to me!

Whoo I am so excited that you are updating!  I trust that married life is going well then!? :)

Love this chapter and I am happy that Bella is going to talk to Edward about what has happened!  I did notice your subtle Sleeping with the Enemy line "My god, what did he do to you"... I smiled! :)  Her response was great too!  Then the song, oh break my heart that he picked that song to play without any knowledge of what it would do to Bella! :(  You're story is so intreguing and wonderful, and I can't wait for Esme to come and visit Bella, only to find out that Bella is dating her son Edward!

-Kari :)

Author's Response:

I was curious if anyone would comment on that, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that you did! I knew attentive people read my story! :) It made me smile that someone caught onto that! :)

And yes, married life is treating us both very well, thank you! Our home is slowly taking shape...we now have furniture, a gorgeous dining room set, sofas, and a nice comfortable living room in which to hang out together.

An update is already ready to be beta'd...stay tuned! :) And thanks so much for the review! Always appreciated!

Oh goodness!  James needs his ass beat!

Author's Response:

I think I speak for everyone reading this story when I say "HELL YES, he needs his ass beat", but it won't come for a while yet...first the sh*t needs to hit the fan, then he comes back into the picture.

Stay tuned! The next chapter inches us closer to that, little by little!

Thanks for reviewing!

Great chapter!

Poor Edward. He felt so bad for that song, but he shouldn't since he didn't know. And I feel bad for Bella, with James still controlling her.

I hope when she talks to Edward, it will help her. :)

I still think that Edward's parents are Carlisle and Esme. XD

Please update soon??

Author's Response:

Edward is always a self-depricating sort of guy, so this wasn't that far-fetched to write...lol

I think it will definitely help her to talk to Edward about the situation...

Your thoughts are quite interesting...hehe I can't reveal anything...but you may have something there!

The update should be ready soon.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Yay!  BTW... I loved the movie that you have this loosely based on... personally I think B&E are better than Julia Roberts and whomever her costar was... LOL  Love the story and can't wait to read the next chapter.

Author's Response:

I loved this movie as well! So much so that I went out and bought a DVD copy of it to watch a few times before writing this story to make sure I didn't do everything exactly the same as I remembered the movie doing! hehe Best purchase on eBay EVER !

The next chapter should be up shortly. Just sent to the queue! Stay tuned!

Congrats on wedding, new house, and learning to love laundry.  Hehe

Glad you are back... can't wait for E/C to visit!  Really enjoying your story, can't wait to read more!

Author's Response:

Thank you! Hehe I'm still 'learning' to love laundry...I'm not there yet ! hahaha

I'm glad to be back, reading all your wonderful reviews! A new chapter should be up soon. I just sent it to the queue! :)
