It's funny to me that Edward's parents pretty much payed for Bella's house... but Bella wont let Edward inside it, lol.
If I were her... I would feel really silly when I made that connection.
I hope it's Esme and Carlisle outside... this whole reunion has been a long time coming.
Author's Response: actually, no, they didn't pay for her house...if you recall, she had been working as a school teacher for a few months and had obviously saved up some money for the down payment for the house (since Esme and Carlisle owned the building and paid for the utilities). I guess in that way, yes, they helped pay for the down payment, but the key here is that she wanted to move because she didn't want to be a kept mistress, who had everything paid for her. She wanted to venture out on her own and now rely on them more than necessary...
