Carlisle was so funny in this one...especially with the comment about Australia and mate.

Great cahpter.  It's nice to see Edward finally acting like an adult.

I really love this story.

I loved this chapter, and I also love that Edward is understanding that things are completely different with Bella and that sex with her will be much different and better than his past trysts. I think both Charlie and Esme have their reasons to be acting like wardens but they need to understand that the more they try to stop B and E from doing things the more they'll act out. It's just teenage behavior. Been there, done that...totally have the tee shirt to prove it, ya know? I do think Esme is scared that E is replacing her with B, because as much as she didn't like his behavior before, she knew there wasn't any deep emotion along with it and she never stopped it then. Anyone can see the love between B and E, and I think she's jealous of the emotion he can share with Bella and not her. Charlie is just acting like a typical dad, but he has all of E's bad behavior in the past to justify himself with. He does need to open his eyes, and realize that his daughter is smart and knows what she's doing. He needs to back off and let her make her own decisions. He can't hold her under his thumb her whole life. Both Edward and Bella are young adults and almost of age to live and function on their own. Bella won't let Edward slack off and not graduate, and Edward won't do anything to hurt Bella. The parents need to realize they've both grown in their relationships as well as they've both gorwn up.

I'm still wondering what's going on with Rosalie. Is she going to be super self-destructive? Will she ever effin' realize that her selfish and hurtful behavior is hurting everyone around her including herself? It's her fault, she's been shady and underhanded this whole time and it's honestly sickening. She's said horrible things to her "best" friend because of so-called betrayl, I feeel like sitting your Rose down and explaining to her, like she's in kindergarten that things don't always go the way you want it too, and that you can have more than one friend at a time. She needs to grow up and get over herself. It's disgusting to read about her trying to manipulate everything in her favor.

Honestly they all need to confront her and let her know just how stupid she's being. Edward needs to tell her face-to-face that she knew what she was getting into, and that was why he didn't want to do anything with her in the first place. He needs to tell her how much he loves Bella, and that won't change. Bella should be there for the conversation. Alice needs to tell her how her behavior digusts her, and that once she got to know Bella she realized how nice and what a good friend she was. Rose needs a taste of her own medicine, but she needs a real dose not underhanded retaliation. She needs to see that the "friends" she's alienated are growing up while she's still acting like a child.

I voted for this fic at the indies. I need to go check out the winners. Your story deserves all the praise it's recieving. I love it and look forward to each email that tells me a new chapter is up! BTW, this novel like review is just my own opinion. ^_^

Well thank you for your review, I appreciated every word! Your comments about Rosalie - really, if you look back on the Port Angeles chapter, and the entire story for that matter, it's all been done. Perhaps the most telling moment for her was when she was watching Jasper,Alice, Edward and Bella through the window all laughing and interacting. In the one scene where they all went out in the beginning of the story (Rosalie, Edward, Jasper and Alice), they barely talked and immediately all went their separate ways. Also the fact that she and Alice got into a fight, and then she had to go home and hear that Alice had, indeed, tried to contact her but she'd messed that up - I think Rosalie has a very clear picture that she's created her own loneliness. Edward told her repeatedly that he didn't have feelings for her. It would be a waste to have him continue to do it. Instead, he shows her what it would look like if he actually did have feelings by who he is with Bella. Which is why Rosalie hates Bella so much. And realistically, she'll always hate Bella. They won't reconcile.

I love Edward. He's a smart boy - he just had a lot of asshole blocking it, ya know? I'm glad to see them communicating so well - he's really stepping up in taking care of her, just as she takes care of him.  And him wanting ot wait until they have some time to make love is just sweet. 8)  Carlisle and Esme cracked me up - that convo was too funny - Carlisle is really learning how to deal with Edward in a good way. And even Brian is giving him a break!  Yahoo. Now if we could just get Charlie to put his shotgun away, these kids just might get some!! ;)
