Thank you so much for such lovely words. They made me smile and I'm honored you felt Bella's plan for Edward was well played so far. It's hard for a mere human girl to find a way to hurt her immortal boyfriend, but I think they've all underestimated Bella a bit. She's about to show them that emotional warefare can be just as painful. I cheered her on throughout this entire chapter. Even if I found myself softening to Edward as he went through the pain of reading her notes and realizing how much he had done wrong when it came to her. ;)

Love the build-up in this chapter. You took me on the journey of Bellas' thoughts and made it perfectly clear how she was reasoning when she came to the conclusion that she had to cut herself.

I really couldn't resist the nod to Muse in this chapter. I love that song too, and it just fit in perfectly with how Bella was feeling. I'm glad you liked it too. This chapter got a lot of mixed reactions. So many people didn't understand the cutting while I've had some really amazing reviews that thought it was very well handled. I'll admit I really didn't want to write the cutting. I tried for almost a week to write around it, but this Bella in my head is stubborn with her kickassedness (my husband's made up word that I commandeered for my story) that she wouldn't let it go. When I finally realized I was going to have to write it I did a ton of research to make sure it came across as believable without crossing any lines. I'm relieved at how it turned out, especially that it provided the realization for Bella that she could save herself. I'm thrilled you understood the journey here and I appreciate your reivew. =)

Wow, the emotions you invoke! I was crying like a baby for the first messages and then I started laughing through my tears when Bella got mad. It made it a bit more difficult to actually see the screen through the haze of tears, but it's so worth it. You're writing is magical and beautiful!

Thank you so much. Bella actually left several other emails, but I thought it might become tedious to the reader. I figured these depicted the best of Bella's emotional journey from pain and heartache to outright anger. The "angry enough to go vampire on your pixie ballerina ass" quote seems to really hook people in a way I didn't expect. I'm going to have it put on a t-shirt. ;) I'm humbled that you feel my writing is beautiful. I appreciate that. =)

Hey Lisa!

Well, it took me a day and a half and I'm exhausted today because I read this into the late hours of last night, but I'm finally caught up! This story is absolutely brilliant, I love it! Badass Bella is the best Bella ever, so much better then the weak girl I often thought she was in the original books. I also love how you've written the relationships between her and the Cullens, especially the one with Rosalie. Your Emmett cracks me up in every chapter and the message panties are the best and original thing I've ever read here! As I am of course completely Team Jake I do hope you will not finish the story without giving him a happy ending as well. I'm all about the rainbow crapping unicorns!! This story is now going on my alert and I look forward to updates. I will also be visiting your forum thread soon!

Hooray Bianca - I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It's been a blast to write so far and I've really enjoyed seeing the characters become more developed. I agree that Bella was a bit too weak in the books. For someone written to be so smart, I never could understand how she could be a doormat. I understand that you're Team Jake, and I respect that - but I can't promise if he gets a happy ending or not because I simple don't know yet. Emmett keeps stealing my outline and scribbling all over it in green crayon. Interesting update.  Personally, I've never been a fan of Jacob and how he deems himself ruler of her love, friends and family.  Anyways, I hope all goes well in the next chapter.  As always, I encourage you to keep moving forward with it.

wow, Jake is really sticking to his word, what a time to chose to be her friend.  He should have told Bella and this would never have happened.  We all know what needs to be done, but how will it be if Jake never leaves her side??  I hope Bella wakes up and yelling for Edward and demanding to be changed, I dont want her to die, Jake needs to realize that she doesnt want to "be" with him.  I had an awww moment when Rose realized that she cares.

I agree that Jake's timing is pretty awful. Although, timing for him never would've been good. I mean he's learned that Bella is in love with his mortal enemy; literally. There was no way around that one. Still, his sixteen years is showing and he's handling this a bit immaturely by refusing to leave her side. I have a feeling that Sam will be a bit more level headed in sorting things out. And you're not too far off base regarding Bella. If/when she wakes up - she's going to make things crystal clear for Jacob. I'm glad you had that awww moment with Rose. It took me a little by surprise as well. very emotional roller coaster. I am a bit floored that Carlisle lost it, but i woudl think it was in order considering how they were both acting, regardless of the real issue.. bella's health and safety. I love that the cullens are so protective of her. Jacob continues to annoy me and becuase he's been absent from your story for so long i dont feel i have any sympathy for him at this point, even though i should be greatful that he saved her. I dont know. maybe it's just me. As always, great job!

Haha - a lot of people don't really have a lot of sympathy for Jacob and honestly, they're not supposed to. He's acting impulsively and way beyond his place for who he is in Bella's life. Granted, I know his heart is really about keeping Bella human, but I don't really believe he's only concerned about her safety - because he wants her for himself so he'll do anything to keep her away from Edward. He's sixteen. He's jealous. And he's recently disovered Bella loves his mortal enemy; literally his mortal enemy. I'm fairly certain that Bella be pretty put out with him if/when she wakes up. Carlisle losing it surprised me too. I wasn't expecting it at all. I mean we never see Carlisle lose it, so I was fairly stunned it happened here - until I realized how Bella's trauma was affecting him. He's sworn to never change anyone again, and yet Bella is now in a situation where he would have changed her before that promise. Can he stand by and watch her die if Edward decides to not change her? I don't know. ;)

You have done it again, you wonderful woman!  jacob and Edward's pain just leapt off the page and I could literally feel the tension and different emotions in all of them.  So well written!  Is this the only chapter without underwear messages?  I miss them!

Hahaha - message panties didn't make an appearance until chapter 11 - but I think they have been mentioned in some capacity in every chapter since. I could be wrong on that though. But you're correct - this is the first chapter in a long time where there wasn't a mention of any message panties. I'm fairly certain she's wearing some though. ;) I'm glad you liked the chapter and I'm hard at work on the next one which isn't any lower in intensity.

I am a Twilight Fan Fiction addict and while I don't normally review unless I have something substantive to say, I always "favorite" my favorite authors and stories.  That being said, I have something to say about this story and THIS chapter, in particular.  Outstanding.  I have loved the creativity of your story -- the wit, sarcasm and emotion.  But this chapter was by far your best --- I really felt what Bella was going through and I can only assume that you were "channeling" her - it must have been wrenching to write.  I hope that you pursue your talent because you truly moved me and I am sure others as well.  Thanks for sharing your story with us!
