Where to start... LOVED the bit w/the garlic, that was great! I really expected her to 'go vampire' on his ass a little more... Not to say that it wasn't well played - It most definitely was.
Edward... I think he'll prove that you can in fact teach an old dog new tricks; but I suspect Bella's gonna have to 'rub his nose in it' a time or two before he catches on.

I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. With Edward - Bella took the "walk softly but carry a big hammer" approach. Yelling and screaming at him wasn't going to make her point and it would be more of what he would be expecting. Her calm approach has him thrown a little and it's going to be fun watching him try to figure things out. You're though, he will learn.

Alice's yake on Angry is almost as enjoyable as angry Bella herself.
I feel for the Cullens, Edward in particular; no idea what the kitten has in store for them, but I'm pretty sure it'll be good.

...as a real and un-fractured smile lit her face.  -  Oh-ho-ho, I see what you did there.  ;D  Love that bit.  <333  (...oh man, you can tell this one's gonna be a doozy if I'm finding something to pick out in the first sentence.  xD)  Loving the difference already in Bella; it's good to see she really is on the mend.  (Oh, the tree.  The tree!  xD)

She wasn’t the same girl she had been, but at least she was putting one foot in front of the other. Being broken by Edward Cullen hadn’t been the end of her as she had feared. Being broken had provided her the opportunity to learn that she was stronger than she had ever believed she could be, and that there were certain things she wanted from life. And no one, not even the stupid supernatural creature she was in love with, would stop her from doing things her way now.

Hallelujah, we have progress!  I can't even say how much I love that little epiphany paragraph; it's about damn time, Bella Swan!  Granted, we've seen this change in her through the story, but I love that she's finally acknowledging it.

She understood that watching her was a habit of his that would take more than one conversation to break; if it was even capable of being broken. But it didn’t excuse the fact that he should have respected her privacy.  -  And I love that she's acknowledging that, too.  Like I said on the forums: I get that things like Emoward are so deeply ingrained in him that they probably won't change, but I'm still hoping he takes at least a few notes from her over this.  C;  It's good to see that she expects this won't be easy, 'cause in all likelihood it's not going to be.  (I know, I know; we saw that in her a bit last chapter, but it's nice to see it reaffirmed.  C= )

Stalking would be a punishable act from here on out.  -  *cracks the hell up*  B-but Lisa, it's what they do!  He stalks her, she stalks him...it's how their story of Epic and True Stalking works!  xD  (You are Awesome.  Have I said this yet?  <333)

She pulled salad vegetables out of the refrigerator and set about chopping them up, tossing them into a salad bowl as she did so. It was a task she had to focus on or she’d risk cutting off a fingertip, but it was something she enjoyed.  -  xD  That made me giggle so hard; totally makes me think of my Skoodles.  She can't slice a tomato without serious injury, poor girl (and she hates me talking about new recipes I'm trying, because I'm one of the ones who could slice a tomato blindfolded and she kills ¼ of China's population each time she steps into a kitchen  xD).

I love the note (though I'll admit, I did crack up while reading it; "I chose this flower 'cause it represents us: like me, it can kill you!  ☺"); classic Edward in its sweetness, with just a hint of his morbidly depressing side dashed in.  Good Ford I love how twisted these kids are.  xD  (I jest, I jest; honest, I loved the note, and the lilly.  Very nice touch on his part.  C= )  Also, love his admission to his hand in Alice's floral arrangements.

“Newsflash, Edward,” Bella said in a controlled but biting tone. “Everything in the world does not revolve around you - and that includes me."  -  *cheering again*  I love this whole bit, from how she bites at him to Jasper's "MORON!" comment - and his note that's she strategic/not stupid.  And Em!  xD  Love that he just had to pop in and give his two cents - and the shoo!  Love the shoo!  I love that Bella's got his number down so well.

Edward even heard Esme’s laughter from upstairs.  -  Are you by any chance reading JayJayHale's Dirty Dancing with the Devil Herself?  There's a bit in the reunion scene in that with the other Cullens commenting about how "Oh man, Bella's gonna rape Edward!" (one guess as to who says that ;P), and after this big long conversation Esme ends it by telling her kids: "Shut up - I wanna see Bella rape Edward!"  I love this bit here as much as I loved that bit there; when even Esme joins in to call Eddie out on his bullshit/gang up on him?  That is gold.  <3  Love that she's joining in on it here, too.

“Just because you always remember doesn’t mean you always pay attention,” Bella noted softly.  -  *clapping*  Those notes he needs to pick up from Bella?  That's one of 'em, right there.  <333

And the claps go on for the rest of it, too.  I love that Bella's calling him out on his bullshit - now, hopefully, he'll just listen to her.  (Though I have a feeling it'll be a repeat performance, especially with how he was already trying to contradict her during her shpeel.)  And the kiss?  Love the role-reversal there.  Very nice way to close out the chapter.

The only thing I'm gonna point out (issue-wise) is some apostrophes.  And I'm prob'ly only noticing them 'cause I was just beta-ing some stuff in my backlog, but there were a few places scattered throughout the first half of the chapter where you had backwards apostrophes.  It was just weird, 'cause I know it's a likelihood with closing quotes and sentences ending in dashes, but they were in these weird places that really had no reason to have been switched like that.  Anyway, like I said: I'm prob'ly only noticing it 'cause I still have my beta hat on, but they really didn't detract from the chapter.  Just a grammar nazi thing, I guess.  xD

Hello, my dear - you just know I've been waiting to see what you would have to say about this chapter. First, the backwards apostrophe's are some weird cliche in my word program that is pissing me the hell off. I try to catch them all, but sometimes the stubborn little bastards just won't let me correct them and are determined to stay backwards. I'm trying to fix the problem. ;)

Second, I'm an accident prone nightmare in the kitchen. Oh, I'm an awesome cook - but I can't be in the kitchen without some sort of burn, cut, scald, etc.... So Bella's need to focus on her cutting task? Could totally relate.

If you loved the whole silbing conversation - Jasper's MORON comment, Emmett getting a little in Edward's face, etc. Then you'll love the next chapter where Emmett hijacked it. Promise.

I actually haven't read JayJayHale's story, but she left me a review yesterday and I was kinda blown away. Her reviews and popularity are off the chain so I was surprised to see her check this story out. I'm planning on reading her story; the only reason I've held off is we're writing in same category and from her summary it sounds like there are some similarities in our stories. I don't mean intentional or anything - but just Bella being back with a vengeance...

Shortie did call that Edward would crack first - but it certainly wasn't an apology that he cracked with. That was a big, "Oh, no he didn't...." moment for me that had me laughing for several minutes after I realized that's what he wanted said. Still cracks me up.

So the next chapter is done with the exception of a few brief revisions. You know I love you for your fantabulous reviews. My husband always plops down next to me and has me read them aloud. =) So thanks.

I just sat down today and read everyone of your chapters!!  I love this story and how Bella is showing her stronger side!!  I always thought of Bella as strong and not weak.  I can't wait for your updates!!  I can't wait to see how their relationship emotionally and physically changes.
