Reviews For Fractured Hearts

Lisa!  Hi!

Do you want to know how big of a dork I am?  Well, you already know, but this is just proof.

I'm reviewing some earlier chapters to prep for 21.  See?  Dork!  Haha!  Anyway, this chapter shows the pain that Alice was in, and her pain is Jasper's pain.  I'm going to read 5 and 7 of course.  ;)  I might have to read 7 twice.  :)

~Jen

Author's Response:

Oh my Jen, Do you know how surprised I was to turn on my computer just now and have my email notifiy me of three reviews? Then I follow the link to find that the new reviews are from you - one of my favorite people on the planet!!! So excited. I have been away from the computer bascially all weekend spending family time and have finally cracked open the laptop to try and finish up chapter 21 tonight. You re-reviews of some of your favorite chapters just spur me on and make my heart overflow. Thank you. This was just the boost I needed. I love you!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much. I'm thrilled that their back and forth banter made you laugh and I appreciate the review. :)

YEY! you smutted us! and you're good at it too!! Never blush! You're a natural!

I love the symbolism she puts into everything she does, liek the handcuffs and their metal clinking sound and what it represents. your bella is a lot mroe intelligent than SM's bella, lol. I'm sure thats intentional, i dont know if i've ever told you before, but i didnt like her too much in the last few books.

Oh, edward. I will say again that he reminds me much of mike... esp from cumming from a combination of penis friction AND a titty grope! lol.

Author's Response:

HAha - I'm glad you liked it Mari. I don't know about a natural, but I'm trying. Kari's a great "tutor" - lol  I'm thrilled you like this Bella and recognize the subtle meanings in each thing she does and how they are for a purpose to benefit Edward. I thought SM built her up as being book smart, but never really allowed us to see that side of her too much. And poor Edward, it really didn't take him much did it? But can you blame him, really? He's had a LOOOOONG time of sexual frustration that Bella just pushed him right to edge of endurance with a few simple strokes. ;) Payback should be interesting now that he's gotten his. I can see him being extremely patient and slow in his exploration of Bella's body. Yummy. It's going to be fun. Thank you so much for your continued support of this story Mari. You know I appreciate and adore you. :)

Great work! I am looking forward to a bit more action between them VERY soon!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much. I think Edward agrees with you and wants more action VERY soon as well. ;) I appreciate the review.

im glad he let go, i hope he continues to let go more

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked it. I think that know that Edward's had a taste at what he's been holding back from - he's going to be hard pressed to stop "experimenting" with how far he can take things. Bella's opened the window and he's eagerly jumping through. There's no going back now. ;) I appreciate you letting me know you enjoyed it.

The Badass-Bella-show is getting better and better! (At first, I tipped Bedass... I guess, Emmet would have loved this typo lol)

The handcuffs are an excellent idea, and as for Edward to loosen up and let Bella have her way on his body: yammie!

I can't wait to read the next chapter!

Author's Response:

Is it wrong that I'm sad you're all caught up now? Your reviews have been a delight and I hope I see more of them in future chapters. I'm thrilled you enjoyed the handcuffs and the fact that Bella is forcing Edward to observe before he can participate. The next chapter is well under way and has already surprised me a few times. :) Thank you so much for your dedication to this story and for leaving me your thoughts along the way. I appreciate it more than you know.

The girl talks was more than necessary ;)

Jasper bringing Alice coffee is the cutest thing ever, though they're pretending.

Great job with the end of the chapter.

Author's Response:

Can you tell I have a special place in my heart for Jasper and Alice? I just adore them and feel they never get enough love. :) I'm so happy you enjoyed the chapter and thank you so much for the review. I completely appreciate it.

Wow. I really love this story!  I can't tell you how awesome it is to see Bella be such a strong woman.  Even though I adore the Twilight series and quite a bit of the fan fiction I read here - almost always Bella's character seems to come across as so much weaker than Edward.  I love that you had her exact some sort of revenge and stand up for herself in the face of all of the Cullens - because honestly, I always felt that her forgiveness came too easily.  So well done!  I can't wait to read more of  this story!  Thank you for writing and posting it - it's such a pleasure to read!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for the lovely compliment. Being a strong woman myself it always sat a little wrong with me how easily she gave up on what she wanted. Don't get me wrong - I adore the entire series and have read them repeatedly - but I just wanted a stronger female lead. If Edward and Bella have a chance of ever making it really work it can't be him always saving her and trying to protect her. It has to be equal in some way. Sure he's strong physically, but I think she just might be stonger mentally - and they need that balance. :) I'm so thrilled you enjoy this story and I appreciate your review deeply.

Author's Response:

Haha - I'm so glad you liked it. It certainly seems to be a fan favorite moment. Even I laugh everytime I think about it. I can only imagine the look of shock that crossed his face. He so deserved it though. ;) Thanks for letting me know you liked it. I appreciate it.

how come she didnt call Edward and left him a message. that would have been priceless to see the look on his face!

Author's Response:

Well, she honestly wasn't ready to talk to him and she wouldn't have been able to reach him anyway. He demanded the Cullens all change their number. Alice is the only one that refused which is why Bella was able to leave messages for her. :) Thank you for your excitement and please, feel free to continue to ask any questions you have. I'll be happy to answer them. I appreciate your reviews and adore hearing from my readers.

Lisa, Lisa, Lisa,

Woman, I don't even know if I can find the words for this chapter.  It was.....it was......*sigh*......amazing is not even the right word, but that is all I can come up with.

First off........*dancing across the room* She left the window open, SHE LEFT THE WINDOW OPEN!!!!!!!!!  So excited to see that line.  Ice no less.  Girl, I don't know what you were worried about with this chapter.

I love that Bella is finally showing confidence in herself and towards that fact that Edward will not allow himself to hurt her.  The fact that she is strong enough to finally talk to him and tell him what she wants is just what I have been hoping for.

Okay, so is it just my stomach that flip-slops when he calls her "Sweetheart?"  The handcuffs?????  I think we have been talking on the threads about you and AJ's to much, cause that was priceless!  It was only fair game for him have to sit and see what he does to her.

Making him taste her.......*gwah*.....what are we going to do with you girl......I have to say that I totally understand the hair brushing.  Thinking of what year Edward was born, that would have been a totally seductive thing to do to a woman without sex.

HE FINALLY TOUCHED HER!!!!!   That was fabulous.  I cannot wait till it is Edward's turn to seduce Bella.  I can only imagine what he has in mind, considering that he can read others minds.

I am so excited for the next chapter.  I love where you have this heading and it is really exciting to see these two finally being the strong people that I know they are, esp. Bella.

*MWAH* Chy

Author's Response:

Chy, my sweet Chy, oh how I adore your enthusiastic reviews. :) No, my stomach flip-flops when he calls her sweetheart too. I think it's because he doesn't overuse it so it always catches me by surprise when he says it. The handcuffs were not at all connected with me or AJ *wink* at least not consciously. Besides, we all know it was really all about trust and not restraint - so um.... yeah. Besides, we use fuzzy handcuffs at home. The metal chafes. hahahaha

Yes, Bella decided he deserved a little taste. After all, he's so insistent that he can't handle any part of her in his mouth and yet he didn't break the skin as he sucked and licked on her fingers. Surprise, surprise. ;) Bella's wicked smart. I LOVE her. As for the hairbrushing. GUH. It's one of the only things I can tolerate when I'm fighting a massive migraine and when AJ digs his fingers against my scalp it's glorious. I can only imagine how Edward had been wanting to do that for so long - we all know he's a little fixated on her hair. ;) And I agree, I bet that's right up his old-fashioned alley of a form of seduction from his human time; not like he'd actually know about that though. haha

Yes, he touched her. I'm actually surprised that once he realized he could touch her skin that he didn't do more, but maybe he has a grand master plan he hasn't shared yet. ;) I'm thrilled you enjoyed it so much. The next chapter is well under way and has already surprised me a few times.  Thanks for the awesome review!!!

Love you,

~Lisa

I love agry bella better than weak bella.

Thanks. Me too. I know I'd never just let the man I believe I am supposed to be with just walk away without a fight. Haha - but I guess you knew that since I wrote this kind of story. I appreciate the review. :)

My dear it’s always a pleasure to read this story. Congratulations this chapter was pure gold!!! Indeed I needed a cool myself after that raise in the temperature at Bella’s room. I really enjoyed every part of this chapter, imaging Edward handcuffed to the rocking chair was hot and kind of funny (the idea of a vampire handcuffed to a rocking chair sends a round of giggles through meJ). But I think that what I loved the most was when he brushed her hair. There is something sensual and lovely about that simple act (when it’s so spontaneous), our hair is always something very personal and special for us and have the one you love want to brush it makes you fell more cared, more loved, more beautiful.

I’m looking forward to your next update, I sure it’s going to be great either if it’s about Christmas or maybe about what happened when Edward went home and back to Bella’s, or some other encounter between them. It really doesn’t matter because it’s going to be worth reading any way.

Always hoping that real life treats you well…

Kisses. R.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for the kind words and in depth review of this chapter. I also found the handcuffs pretty funny as they wouldn't stop him in the least. Bella could've just wrapped tissue paper around his wrists and it would've been as effective. However, it was the clinking of the metal against the wood of the chair that was her purpose. The sound always brought Edward back into focus that he was an observer only; that Bella was in control - and frankly that was a turn on all on it's own. I also agree that when the one you love brushes your hair like that it's an extremely sensual and erotic experience. It's ironic for me because as I suffer from extreme migraines rather frequently the only thing I can tolerate on my head in that time is my husband's fingers in my hair. He runs his fingers from scalp to ends and then applies pressure when it's the most painful. For those moments I can breath and the pain recedes just enough to be manageable. The other times he brushes my hair or grabs a fistful, well.... that's a story I won't share. ;) I so appreciate your lovely review and I hope your life is treating you well too.

Holy crow...I'm reading this at work grinding my bits into my chair & trying not to growl. THAT's how HOT HOT HOT this chapter was! I can't WAIT for Edward's revenge. I really like this new confident Bella too.

Author's Response:

I apologize for getting you so hot and bothered at work. Even I had to attack my husband after I finished writing this chapter and Edward and Bella never even got naked. Guess that just proves that it doesn't have to be sex to be sexy as hell. ;) I'm so glad you're enjoying it, even if it's a little awkward for you at work, and I sincerely appreciate the review. :)

Holy crap that was HOT! What happens next? Now that I'm all caught up,I don't want to wait! UPDATE,UPDATE,UPDATE

Author's Response:

Why thank you. I wasn't sure if people would think it was hot considering there's not "bump and grind" - hell they're not even naked. ;) I'm sad for you that you're all caught up as I've enjoyed reliving the story through your thoughts. Don't worry the next chapter is well under way and hopefully is a few characters can stop chattering so much it'll be finished soon. ;) Thank you for reviewing all along the way. Your reviews made me smile and I appreciate each and every one. :)

Edward's letter made me melt. And HOT DAMN the window is finally OPEN! About time! Bella's a very naughty girl for teasing our poor Edward like that.:P

Author's Response:

His letter made me melt too. Whne my husband was deployed he'd write letters like that to me and damn if I didn't wish he was closer so I could attack him every time. Yes, the window's open and who knew ice could be so hot? I think Edward likes this naughty side of Bella. hahaha Thank you for taking the time to let me know what you thought.

"Closed until further notice" how perfectly Rosalie! I couldn't stop laughing at Emmett's expense. Lookoing forward to the group date.

Author's Response:

Yes, well, you have to admit that he totally deserved it. ;) After all, Rosalie made it clear with the first revelation of Bella's message panties that it was NOT okay to discuss anyone else's underwear and yet Emmett, as only Emmett can, continued; relying completely on his charm to get away with it. I'm glad you liked it and felt it was appropriate - of course Rosalie wasn't wearing underwear, but I think her point was clearly made. ;)

Another fantabulous chapter. Alice gets Edward in a way that noone else does.I love it when she calls him on his shenanigans. I'm digging this feisty Bella and slightly less repressed Edward. I hope there are more "messages" in their future. It's hilarious to see him lose his shit over her naughty panties.

Author's Response:

Oh there are more messages - I promise. Well, I know you've completely caught up so you know there's more messages. ;) I agree that Edward and Alice have each other's number like no one else in the family. That's what makes it so fun you know. The little back and forth bickering that they do. I loved your review, but is it bad that I'm a little sad you're close to being caught up? ;)

I'm miserable that I'm caught up.. you know that is the hard thing about reading stories that are not complete..LoL...

Once the next installment is out you really need to revisit the previous chapter to renew your memory a bit, especially if you have like 40 stories in your favorites..LoL  This sends my brain cells in overdrive.. I have narcolepsy and it affects my short term memory so it does me in sometimes trying to keep abreast of all of my lovely stories that have stolen my heart

Author's Response:

I'm so sorry that you're all caught up. I know what that feels like. I can appreciate that you're still reading though, even if you have to remind yourself which story mine is as you have a plethora of favorites. ;) I had one reader tell me that it's hard to remember that when she gets an update it's hard to remember what the story's about, but whenever mine pops up in her inbox she says, "Oh, that's the message panty story." I thought that was pretty cute. Of course I had no idea that one little part of the story would become so popular - but hey - I'm not complaining. haha Thank you so much for the review. I hope you get so decent rest soon. :)

Edward's learning. His reactions to Bella's artwork made me smile. He was so proud of her talent and he made sure she new it. He even managed to reveal that her hiding her passion for drawing hurt his feelings, but  did so without making it all about him. Baby steps but important baby steps. I think he deserves a reward for his good behavior! :)

Author's Response:

Thank you for noticing that Edward didn't make his hurt or reaction to Bella's artistic talent all about him. You're one of the few to notice that little detail. And you're correct, baby steps are extremely important for BOTH of them. Thank you for the continued reviews. I'm touched your wrapped up in the story so much. :)

I want Esme to adopt me, she's absolutely wonderful. Her response to Bella's artwork was dead on. I love how she acknowledged how the drawings spawned from Bella's pain over their leaving and in the same breathe hastened to reassure Bella it would never happen again. That no matter what happens between Bella and Edward that Bella is truly part of the Cullen family. Hopefully that acceptance will speed Bella's healing. I just wanted to say that the detail you used to describe Bella's drawings Made it seem as if I was seeing them on the page instead of just reading about them. You are the bestest.

Author's Response:

I want Esme to adopt me too. I actually strive to be that kind of mother as my own was a nightmare and that's why I refer to her as my bio-mom. Anyway, I'm thrilled you felt Esme responded in the best way possible and let Bella know that she IS a part of the family now. Thank you for the comment on the details I described regarding the drawings. I went only from my own drawing experiences, but I did have a couple of professional artists make the same sort of comment. I'm humbled by your words and appreciate them, and the reivew so much.
