The way I saw it, Bella is trying to see if anyone else will work for her. She feels Jake is a decent guy so she agrees to a date.

Fun story!
I'm enjoying the triangle you've got going between Bella and her two wanna-be suitors. You've managed to add Jacob into the story without demonizing him, like so many authors tend to do.
Strangely enough, I'm looking most forward to the Alice-Jasper hookup--I really like those two :)

Well, that was good. The only problem that I have with it is that Bella is with Jacob!!! Jacob annoys the crap out of me! Anyhoo, great job on this chappy!! I just hope that Bella and Edward come to their senses soon!

Great. Bella's stupid and we get Jake the dog. Can't Bella ever be smart and confident and Jake just be gone? She is worried about dating her boss but she doesn't mind going out with a client, who's a creep?
Author's Response: Funnily enough, I'd been against having Jake in my other AH stories. He just sort of called to me in this one. :P
I tried to make Jake amiable but I guess I can't win them all. Ah well!
