Wow, oh wow. I just discovered Not Like This and (pause for dramatic silence with a stunned face), it is amazing! The angst, OMG, the angst, the pain, the turmoil. You can't even blame anyone for all the sh*t thats happened, it just...did. The whole story and the writing is fantastic and I feel like I really connect with each character. Awesome job with the story and the writing (standing ovation from me). Cannot wait for you to post the next chapter. Please post soon...

LOL!  Yup.  I wish I could give up my real full time job and do this, but as it stands, I work full time, have a 2 year old, answer every review and have an extremely active thread on the forum - oh, and write this story (35 chapters are written).  So, I'm pretty much awake 24 hours a day!

What a fantastic chapter (or two!), since I read two at once... Edward's devestation, the entire Cullen family's compassion and Charlie's rage.  Wow.  All for Bella.  Is she going to at least wake up soon and realize Edward is with her?  Please make it so.  Where is Angela now?  I'm glad Alice is there for her, as well as everyone else.  Bella needs a girlfriend right now.  I don't know how Edward and Bella are going to recover from all of this, but I sincerely hope they find their way.

This is my fave chapter in a long time - I love getting into Charlie's head!  The betrayal, by the Cullens, and by Bella, of her not turning to him when she needed him - you can see how deeply that affects him.

omg... poor charlie... i could understand really if he was able to kill edward because of utter rage. it would really look like edward left bella because she was pregnant. it didn't help to see bella all skins and bones. no parent would want to see their child like that. i guess it would be a little hard to talk to charlie into thinking or believing the truth. but i hope he would.. gosh.. i could really feel his pain.. but more is his unconditional love for bella. despite his hate for edward, he would be willing to accept him if that's what bella want. thank you for showing charlie's POV.. i think next would be charlie's pov still but i hope there would be of carlisle's as well. thanks for the update!! =)

Poor Charlie.  This was his gut, initial reaction - no information.  No background.  Just going on what he can put together from the tableau he witnessed.  But this Charlie is a good man.  He has more wisdom than we give him credit for.  I think he will surprise you in the end.

Oh. Oh my.

I just... I devoured this mo-fo in an hour. I'm on the edge of my seat. And you see, when it comes to fanfic, I'm very particular about what I read. But this... Oh lord, you're gonna be the death of me. My heart was pounding, my palms were sweaty. I felt like I was going into a panic attack every time a chapter ended. and now...I have to wait. with bated, laboured breathing. Until you post again.

I haven't been this upset since they pushed back Harry Potter. Seriously.

I know this is one in like 283743747 reviews. But know that I am holding this story close to my heart. I love it. And really, I could count the ways, but that would take me all night and since it's the 4th of July tomorrow, that might not be a great idea.

But I will say this. I adore that you have taken an almost banal, cliche storyline and sculpted this story from it. You've taken everything I had begun to feel about fanfiction lately and tossed it out the window of a 15 story building. At the very top. It's because of authors like you that I don't lose hope in humanity. Or..at the very least, Twilight fanfiction. I do hope, beyond reasonable expectations, that you don't use the name Renesmee. But eh, for this story, I would deal. ;)

You're an amazing writer, and you've done wonders with this. I honestly, can't wait until the next chapter. and to quote my biffle "Therewasbrilliancy" "I'M DYING! UPDATE SOON!" (I just sent her the link for this and she was reading it over cereal. I'm sure you'll be hearing from her soon. She's harmless, I promise.)

This review was utterly amazing and I answer every single one of them.  Even if there are 283743747,  I will still answer every one.  Because you took the time to write, I will take the time to review.

I am *so* grateful for your words.  I wanted to make this story different and special and I wrote it in a completely odd fashion (non-narrative.  I only give you snips of the emotional workings of the inside of each character's mind - you fill in the story), so it was a complete experiment.  And it's a complete shock how wonderful the reception has been.

There will be NO Renesmee in this story.  Much as I love SM and her books, that was whack.  No deal.  The baby has a much better name (I've written 10 chapters ahead of what you are reading).  So you won't have to suffer through that.

Again, I cannot thank you enough for the amazing review and feel free to send anyone my way, harmless or not!  Visit our thread as well.  We have a BLAST!

Wow the plan really went down the tubes there. I think Charlie under those circumstances would be pretty uncontrollable though as well.
