this was in a way a happy chapter. but it broke my heart. i have done good at holding back the tears of the past few chapters, but hearing edward talk to his baby, and then reading charlie pov, i just lost the fight on holding my tears back. you are doing well at writing this story and getting the readers to feel the emotions of the characters. i cant wait to read the updates.

ok, i've still got tears rolling down my cheeks, but i wanted to write this while i was still fresh with feeling... this was beautiful, so exceptionally touching. and, just like i predicted, i got all melty. i didn't expect charlie to be the one listening, i knew someone would be, but it was perfect that it was he.
fyi - i was studying for an exam at this god-awful hour when the alert came on my amazing blackberry that you posted. so what did i do? oh, of course, i dropped everything to read because that's how much you rock. erhm... did i mention that i like you story :)

omg..im sitting here barely able to keep the tears from falling. What a beautiful story this is. God..I feel so sorry for all of them. All I can say is that I'm so glad that you belive in happy endings..don't think I could handle a sad one.

OMG this chapter was so sweet!! His "little love" awwww that was so gorgeous! I could picture it in my head so well and it's just so beautiful and lovely.
Charlie's reaction to Edwards speech to the baby too was perfect. Hopefully he'll ease up a bit on Edward cause he's obviously seeing that Edward knows he made a mistake and that he knows he's going to have to work hard to make up for it.
Author's Response: I think Charlie indirectly bonded with Edward in the role of father. The eavesdropping was iffy, but, in this case, better than any conversation the two could have. I am so grateful for all of your support!!

omg!!!!!!!!!! I.HAVE.NEVER.CRIED.SO.MUCCCCCCH.IN.MY.WHOLE.HISTORY.OF.READING.FANFICS(well actually including actual books i guess..and i love to read i tell you. i guess the closest i'v cried like this was reading message in a bottle by n.sparks or bridges of madison country).. i can't stop crying even until now.. i easily cry over movies and books but i've never cried like this in such a long time..you are a wonderful writer. thank you.. sometimes it's good to cry like this.. but edward talking to her daughter..it was just so heartfelt.. and i remember the time when i first saw my daughter in the nursery area (NICU) as well..everything edward said..it was soooooooooo beauiful that even if i were charlie as well and i heard him say that, it would totally win me over as well. gosh... i'll read it again. this was really really really good. my fave chapter so far. give yourself a pat in the back..or whatever it is you do to treat yourself. you so deserved it. thanks so much.

Blown away.
There are no words to express just how blown away I am from reading this chapter. It was utterly perfect. edward's words to his daughter about Bella broke my heart, but not in a bad way. In a omg this is incredible way. In a omg the bond between all three of them is unbreakable no matter what. This chapter caused the flood gates to open, thank god for kleenex!
I love Charlie so much more as well. I feel a glimmer of hope knowing he believes Edward is true to his word. True to his love for Bella and Baby Swan-Cullen. <3

Super sweet that Edward is. I was crying with him. I think it was great that Charlie was able to hear Edward talking to his little love. Now we just need to get Bella out of surgery so she can meet her daughter and see Edward. Great job with this chapter.
