Again with the absolutly amazing chapter! I can't think of two better POV's for the introduction of baby cullen! Charlie who has gone through this (being a new dad to a baby girl) and knows what Edward is feeling towards his granddaughter and yet still so protective of his own daughter, but now is beginning to break down the anger and let the forgiveness seep in...I just love this story. I want to scream at the top of my lungs Charlie's line: "Why did you do this, kid, if you knew that? She gave herself to you and you let her go? Damn it boy, why didn’t you listen to your own heart?" Because that is the crux of this story! I would love a check in on Bella in the next chapter! :) Although I can't wait for Alice to meet the baby...she is going to have a great POV!!
Author's Response: That line of Charlie's is when it all changed. When Charlie started to understand the big picture. That he was not the only one who loves Bella, and he's not the only one with a daughter to protect. It changes the dynamic immediately. I mean, there are no hearts and unicorns for Charlie and Edward, but there is now understanding.
You will get a check in on Bella in 31, although I'm not sure how happy it will make you!

It says wonderful things about a writer's work when the reader can perfectly picture the scene in their mind. I felt like a fly on the wall, watching Edward's reactions as his little girl stole his heart away :)

Completely amazing! Ten thousand fucking stars! It was soooo sweet and sad, I cried again...I was thinking... Have you ever considered writing a little short story about in breaking dawn when Edward sees renesmee for the first time? Or a moment between them while Bella was changing? You did so good with this, I was just wondering, because I would totally read it and you would do a fantastic job with it :)

Oh, I had tears in my eyes during this. I loved how he poured his soul out to his little girl. He's a good man. Charlie is learning that maybe Edward isn't such a bad guy and loves his daughter and granddaughter.
I'm starting to believe that you believe in happy endings, but for some reason I feel like there is more to come....

awww. yep, tears of a different kind fell this chapter. I am glad Charlie got to hear Edward's conversation with his daughter.

Well, congratulations. You have made me cry. Is that what you were trying to do? Cause you did a damn good job of it, and I don't cry a whole lot at stories or movies. I think I have shed tears at like 3 movies.
There's something about a guy coming to terms that he's a father and falling in love with the child in an instant that gets me. It's just so sweet to see big macho guys turn into little saps at the sight of their new baby. So sweet. Very well done. Very well done. Ugh, now I'm all sad...but in a good way.
Author's Response: I didn't intentionally set out to make you cry, but is it awful to say I am kind of glad I did? I mean that only in that by getting you to really feel it, I did what I set out to do in this story. To tell a tale from a purely emotional perspective. This chapter is absolutely incredible; I can't imagine how it could have possibly been any better. I was just blown away by everything, but mostly by the part when Edward knows their baby by her red hair. That part really got me.

Ok. I just read through this whole story and absolutely fell in love. Seriously, wow. I'm not mush for reading anything that remotely resembles New Moon, as I hated a majority of the book, but this story is incredible! My one regret is starting it before it finishes, because I know I'll be checking for updates very, very frequently. :)
You are a very talented writer, and I'm curious to see where this stroy will go. For now, I'm off to read your other story!

My heart just goes out to Edward here.
I'm glad Charlie couldn't resist listening in on Edward. He needed to hear that so he could forgive him. I loved your baby descriptions. It reminded me of how my own children looked when they were born-not the hair and eyes, though. :)

I can't even imagine writing that, it's hard to see through my tears to comment. I think that is my favorite chapter so far, you did an awesome job! Had me bawling my eyes out, I give it two kleenexes, which is the most I have ever used for a single chapter!
