That was so much better than the visual I had of Edward doing kangaroo care with his baby girl in the nursery. That was sheer perfection.
Excellent chapter by the way. You're right, the kids had to start somewhere and I don't think you need to feel any fear from you readers over how you did it. Anything else would have been unrealistic.

I can understand that Bella wouldn't be ready to talk to Edward yet. Even if she's registering in her heart that she still loves him (and always will), she still has to come to terms with what he did. To magically have everything all right again would really stretch the bounds of credulity.
But I can see how her heart would break when he really saw just how Edward loves their daughter, not just hearing about it second-hand.
Can't wait to read more!
