Thank God for Angela. Her steady, calm friendship has been such a blessing to Bella. I really don't know if/how she would have made it without her steady friendship.

Dude, seriously, if you kill her off and it's a bittersweet ending with Edward always loving his baby girl who he names after her or some crap like that, I think I'll hunt you down and smack you up side the head... Just so that we're clear, a happy ending includes both Edward and Bella in it... Cause you're seriously scaring me with Bella's condition. I think it was worse that it was in Carlisle's POV cause he knows best just how serious her situation is. (and by worse, I mean it was the best way to convey what was going on.)

What a wonderful chapter. I love how you are drawing out the talk between Bella and Edward. Bring on the angst. At the same time i wish the chapters were longer. (Talk out of both sides of my mouth much!) can't wait for more!

I like the relationship between Edward and Jasper- they kind of balance each other out and for all of the sh*t they give each other, I can tell that they really care.
Author's Response: They really do balance each other out. Edward stabilizes Jasper - brings him back from the edge. Jasper lightens Edward and keeps him from going to far into the abyss. They are true brothers and friends though.

Thank you for the author's note at the beginning. I'm so sorry for your loss. I appreciate your intentions towards the situation.
I loved that Alice had to 'channel my inner Emmett'.
I like the fact that Edward seems to know there's something wrong with Bella, that even though things have gone horribly wrong between the two of them, they still have a connection to each other. Hopefully that saves them.

Sometimes is really good to have someone who doesn't/can't react to emotion and terror. People tend to be much more effective if they aren't wrapped up in fear and grief.

This chapter was indeed about faith, and it looks like Esme and Angela have plenty of it. Really emotional stuff. Esme really loves Bella and she is really trying to make things up to her.
With all the angst we've had, will there be if not a happy ending, then some sort of positive resolution before the epilogue? As of Chapter 33, you said you had nine more chapters written, and we are here at 42, so I was just wondering how much further this will go before the epilogue begins. Yes, Edward has to earn her trust again, but I hope they would at least start down that road by the end of the story.
Author's Response: The main story looks like it will be about 50 total before the epilogue and yes, there will be a huge step in that direction before that time. Promise:)
