OH.MY.GOD!!! NO!!! This killed me...I am bawling, literally bawling! How can Bella do this? She heard him, she heard him talking to her while she was unconscious...she heard everything. He helped bring her back, how could she not trust him! This hurts on so many levels! I hope this all gets made right and that Bella comes to her senses...and soon! I can't take much more of this! Hurry up and update soon! I'm going to the store to replenish my stock of Kleenex!

Don't worry. I see why Bella is saying this right now. She's been burned bad and she doesn't want to go through it again. It's understandable. I'm thinking they are slowly going to get back together when she brings Elizabeth over to visit him and when he drops her off or whatever. They will start talking more and earning that trust back. That's how I see it going. Great chapter hun!

As much as it saddens me that Edward and Bella aren't together at the end of this chapter, I applaud you for taking it in this direction.  Without this, any outcome wouldn't be realistic. 
Pardon me while I get personal for a second, but I've been hurt badly by men a few times in my life and as much as I loved them, I couldn't have gone running back to them even if they were as elegant and loquacious as Edward.  I hope he can find some way to earn back her trust and they can somehow find a way to be a happy family, but kudos for making Bella walk away right now.  It's real and it makes your story that much more compelling. 

Can't wait to read the rest!!!!!

Thank you for understanding why I went this way with the story.  I know how many folks were disappointed, but I'm not done yet either.  I think this is the more organic decision for Bella at this point in time.

OH my Lord Child are your trying to kill me? I cant believe Bella is saying that to Edward but sadly I understand how badly battered her heart is and is so afraid of getting hurt. I do hope those insecurities get resolved as it breaks my heart to see such pain,

Poor Edward! But I understand why Bella went with that decision, she's afraid to put herself out there again especially concerning Edward, the pain of his leaving is ingrained too deep.

I already reviewed this chapter once, but i just must do it again. i don't think bella did the right thing.

true love like that is NOT something to be thrown away so easily. it is something to fight for. most people in this world never to experience that kind of love. it would be a travesty to just throw it away.

edward made a mistake...one he obviously won't make again. that's why bella should forgive him and let him back in. and that's why bella did let edward back in so quickly in s.meyer's new moon.

life is short...true love is really all that's worth living for.

 

anyway, that was just me rambling my own opinions.

 

i STILL trust that you will give us a happy ending (which must include bella and edward together in order to be happy) but please don't make it too difficult on painful.

I think you will be very happy with some future chapters then.  But you'll have to hang in there.  There's work to do yet.  Bella may have sounded final, but she's only been awake for 48 hours or so and is hormonal, terrified, hurt and drugged on pain meds.  Not a good combo for making life altering decisions.
