I have been desperately waiting for the next update of this wonderful story and I was not disappointed. 

Going with an Alice POV was the perfect choice. Alice is one of the best members of the Cullen family (followed by Emmett of course) and she would be the one who would get the story really rolling.

I can't wait to see what happens next.

Wow, this story has total got me.  I sure hope Alice finds her.  What has Bella been doing this whole time? 

Author's Response: Bella has been no more than existing. To be honest, there will only be glimpses into the pair's lives during the separation, but really all one needs to know is they are not living at all. Just in survival mode. Thank you for reviewing!

This is another great chapter. I love Emmett and how he's not willing to hold anything back. You are doing an awesome job keep it up. Can't wait to read more.

Another great chapter and it was also really great to see the other sides view.

i'm looking forward to more chapters.

i have to admit i did cry in this chapter when i thought of what Edward and his family are going through, or course then i thought about Bella and had to get a whole new box. Your such a great writer and you really do paint a picture in my mind and evoke strong motions with your words.

What an awesome review.  I am trying to stick with their personalities and voices, even though this is way AU.  As for Edward finding out, it's in Chapters 17 and 18 (already wrote it) so a LONG way to go.  And I cried the whole time I wrote it.  Hope it is worth it in the end.

Oh fuck indeed!  Curious spin you have put on the NM tale.  I think I like it.  But I want to know why they left.  Or have they not left?  But edward and Bella split anyway?

Good question.  Edward left because he has a very black and white version of moral and amoral.  They are 18 afterall.  He believes that what he did, bruising her so badly and possibly making her ill (he really doesn't know) is enough for him to think he's not worthy of what he thinks is perfect love.  As adults, most of us think that is tripe, but in the mind of a very black and white 18 year old, this would make some modicum of sense.  I don't agree or understand, completely, his choices.  But he doesn't make them to hurt her.  He makes them to protect her, in his mind.

Little does he know that the choices he makes damages her more than he could ever imagine.

Please keep reading and hopefully it will make more sense.

I think her thought process was, right or wrong, that if he didn't want her anymore then she wasn't going to "use" a baby to get him back.  That is why she didn't tell him.  Do I agree or disagree?  It doesn't matter.  But that is what she is thinking.  She doesn't want him to stay with her because of a baby.  She wants him to stay with her for her.

I am sorry if that's lame, but I hope it explains Bella's mindset.
