Gah, this chapter was amazing!! I think I was holding my breath through the whole thing, lol. The build up of angst, the hedging ... but WHAT IS HE GOING TO SAY???
I heard a rumor at the threads there will be another update tonight? Oh my gosh, if that is true, pomme, you are truly too good to us. Whenever it comes, I can't wait!!

Ok, the spacing is getting annoying. It's like insane pausing between sentences. If it continues I'll stop reading, I wouldn't read one giant block of text with no spacing and I don't think I'll continue with this much longer the way it's set up.
Author's Response: I address this in the A/N of the next chapter, but it is a function of a system translation problem and not intentional. I do hope we won't lose you, but, I'm afraid, I cannot afford a new Word program in order to avoid the spacing. Many apologies.

Oh, no you don't...no hiding missy! You write like that...and you can't hide...and by that I mean AMAZING as always! Edward... I was torn between being mad as hell or totally wanting to pull him into a hug and cuddle him(which does sound nice). The heartfail he was feeling...OMG! Girl, you are totally going to kill me before we get to the happy stuff!

I love angst. I thrive on it. This angst is brilliant and ugly all at the same time, just how I like it. The characterization of tormented Edward was absolutely perfect, the descriptions of "bile gurgling" was dynamic, the self-loathing is gut-wrenching and the suspense is killing me slowly. More please.

Okay first I have to say that I am very bad, I have been reading this and not reviewing. Please send Edward over right away for my spakings!
This is a great stroy. I love how you have taken something that happpend in the book and twisted it to a different story. I know you said that the baby will be oaky, and that does make me feel better, but I am wondering how Bella will be after this. It is a difficult situation to be in. And for the record I admire you for writing about difficult subjects even tho you may get a hard time from some people. Touchy subjects seem to unleash many opinions and negative comments.

I tried to spin the story off the actual book and bring in as many references as I can while letting it grow into its own story. I knew that there would be controversy due to the subject matter, but I believe that if enough people are reading and personally involved in it, then I am tackling it in a positive way. If that makes any sense. Still, I try to take the negative and not internalize it, although when a story is as close to your heart as this one is to me, it's tough.

Loved the serpent analogy- you are a great writer! I am anxiously awaiting Edward's reaction to the news that he's going to be a father. I can't imagine what he will feel though we he finds out that Bella (and the baby) are in the hospital!

AMAZING!!! It seems that with each chapter I am left asking for more. E is so scared I wonder what he will do now that he knows. Will he go crazy and demand to see B or will he understand that she needs time? What will he do when he finds out not only is she pregnant but that she is in the hospital? Can't wait please update soon. =)
