I always watch White Christmas on DVD while fixing Thanksgiving dinner--not the most glamorous or riotous tradition, but mine nonetheless.

my family's thanksgiving tradition is that while the adults clean up, all the "kids" (i use that term lightly because the youngest of us is now 18) go and see a movie. last year, of course, we saw twilight. so, no worries--and, ps, white christmas is amazing.

this was totally awesome! and the whole thing with carlilse... brilliant!!! aww... edward and emmett made up!!! jasper... hehe!!! i dont do this as a tradition in my house, but my friend does. you have a plain white tablecloth that you would write on or piece of paper or something and write wat you are thankful for, and sign it with your name and year u wrote it!

I loved the chapter. You definitely had me going with the DVD. I was going along a whole 'nother path, which is probably what you wanted :-). I also LOVE your Carlisle. Just the thought of him as an older Emmett has me hooked. Can't wait for the Thanksgiving chapter!

This chapter was freaking hilarious...I just about died laughing when Edward described your Carlisle...rofl, and it just got funnier with the airport meeting including Edward's father and his girlfriend checking each other out. Very, very naughty and so fun to read.
Then there was the hot laundry room sex and the touching brotherly moment between Edward and Emmett. Thanks for a great chapter packed full of good friend, good times and lots of yummy goodness. :)

my favorite thanksgiving tradition was this jello my grandma always made for me...i was the only one that liked it. it's lemon jello with shredded carrots and pineapple in it. yes, it sounds bad. my husband was grossed out by it for years...but he finally tried it and admitted that it is excellent. you'll just have to trust me. :) i think it's a wisconsin thing.

Aww I loved this chapter. I love silly, drunken Carlisle.
The only weird tradition my family has is "Steal Bingo", where we take 3 decks of cards (because I have a big fam) and pass them out so everyone gets 5. Then, there's 1 dealer who draws the cards and calls them out by number and symbol (i.e. 3 of Spades). If you have it, you flip it. If you flip all 5, you yell BINGO and pick a "prize".
The "prizes" are White Elephant crap that we accumulate over the year, between a few leftover gits from previous Steal Bingo years to random things found in garages to free samples of lotions/make up/whatever. We usually do a round of wrapped gifts until they're all gone, a "steal" round where you can take one of the presents if you win, unwrap them, then do a round or two of "stealing" unwrapped presents.
It's a lot of taunting fun and we usually all end up with a bunch of crap in the end of it. :)

My own Thanksgiving tradition wouldn't fit so well for your story - I cook up a ridiculous ten-course Thanksgiving dinner for me, my husband, and the in-laws, and then make sure I bribe a friend to come to dinner to act as buffer between me and the mother in law. Oh, and I drink a lot at dinner.
