Superb! I loved this!

Thank you for re-invigorating my fantasy world (and perhaps my real-world marriage and sex life).  I was needing some inspiration.  God I love vampires.  I too was disappointed at the lack of treatment of Edward and Bella's marital intimacy in Breaking Dawn, but I wonder if Meyer thought it would be more tantalizing if she allowed us each to fill in the blanks with our own Edward fantasies.  Have you considered writing any post-change encounters?  I'd love to hear what you imagine that little piece of forever that closed the series was like.  I looked at your bio, and as a history grad student and new mother, I have to ask: How the hell do you make time to write all this fun stuff?  I have to steal minutes just to read it.  Oh, and please keep The List going.  ;)

Thanks for the review.  Where are you doing your grad work and in what field?  (I am an early Americanist...)

Generally, I write in bursts, which is part of the answer.  So when I'm ready to write a chapter I'll sit down and write it in one six or eight hour window, even if that means I'm up til 3 in the morning.  I steal more writing time from my sleeping hours than I should.  And, now that I've just gotten tenure, I'm a little more free to indulge my serious fan fiction habit than I used to be!  Plus, ya know, little things like cleaning and laundry tend to slip by the way side until there's an emergency situation!  lol

I really like how much sweeter this is as compared to The List. The List is fantastic, but this seems ore true to the tenderness SM tries to portray in her characters. You're doing a fantastic job, and I can't wait to read the next chapter!

I definitely need to print this out and tuck it in the pages of my copy of Breaking Dawn... this is how it should have gone down. :)

great story. i love it when edward lets loose. maybe it'd be too ooc, but i'd love to hear him get vocally explict too.

I actually prefer this to the wedding night chapter in The List. I really like your writing style it's easy to read with just the right level of detail.

Oh Hell… Laura that was fantastic! I am almost at a loss for words. You create such delicious visions with your words. I swear I could see Edward feeding the fruit to Bella.  But the best was…

It made me think of “The List”.  When Edward let his control down during the love making… Ugh. I may have let a small moan out myself.

 

I hate that this is done, but you can only have so many EPICS going at once.
