Fantastic chapter. I can't believe she didn't stick it to Jessica though. She was so freakin annoying! I love that Rose and Alice want to help make Edward miserable. Even if he hadn't been such a killjoy for the last few years, he deserves it.

I love that Izzy calls him out on the whole stalker watching her sleep thing. Though, why NO ONE ELSE DOES I don't know. When'd you become a little bitch to Rose was awesome. No one talks to her like that and it's so great that the little human puts her in her place! :)

ok i'm not sure if i got the epiphany but i guess i'll just have to wait and see until the next chapter. i can't believe it too that i am actually liking tanya here. she makes a lot of sense! haha.. =) and i must say, edward thinking that bella didn't love him enough to fight for their relationship..i've never thought of it that way.. i mean yeah.. it makes sense. but i understood bella when she said in NM (not here in the fic) that it never made sense to her that edward loved/wanted her. so it was really easy to accept that edward didn't want her anymore. so now they're gonna start again.. are we gonna see some honest to lemony goodness here? hehe.. can't wait for the next update!this story is really fun. glad i came across it. please update soon! thanks! =)

Yay! Mindfucks are so much fun when they come with sexual tension! :) Izzy is amazing - and so are you. :)

Talk about a total cocktease. Damn she is scary. I love that Emmett's still feeling the after-effects of Jasper's mindfuck (at least, that's what I'm assuming is going on). Great idea to have Izzy move in to make Edward's torture that much more consistent. She is such a scary bitch. I love it!!! :)

To be honest it's 50/50 on the epiphany thing with Edward. I think I may have got it but with Edward it's hard to know what exactly that boy is thinking. I loved the fact that Tanya went all Leah Clearwater on his was so funny. I can't thank you enough for this wonderful story.

I just LOVE Edward and Esme's misery here. Edward's just wallowing, envisioning all these happy reunions and (knowing what's to come) I get all kinds of SICK pleasure from it. :) You rock.

wow! first off belated congratulations on your pregnancy news. =)

the deja vu scene..that was really something.. hehe.. but i thought edward would fight for her.. i mean, i was wondering why edward just let bella leave when he admitted that he knew bella still loved her.. well anyways, let's just see what would happen next. =)

Yeah, she's pretty freakin scary. I love that the library is her sanctuary. No one in her current life would look for her there and it's always peaceful. Glad she found a sweet person like Beth. :) This is a good background chapter. The actual montage of her going to the gym, every fight she had, etc. isn't so much the point as her giving in to her rage. And what a helluva lot of rage she has!

I really likethis story, mostly because of Bella/Izzy and the way she changed after Edward left her.

Reviewer: beth cullen (Signed) · Date: July 23, 2009 08:24 AM · On: Chapter 5: Family Reunion

Of course long chapters are awesome, but this chapter was what it needed to be. The relationships have changed and anything more than what was here wouldn't have been in Izzy's character. She's too much of a to the point kinda girl. So yes, it's great that Rose is impressed. Izzy's very uneven in her blame though. Everyone left, but Alice is getting the brunt of the anger, mainly because she's the one pushing, but still. Jasper gets a friendly wave. Rose gets aggressive banter. Emmett gets a sexy dance. But Alice was supposed to be her best friend and she abandoned her too... It makes sense for Izzy to blame her more.

Once you're done with this story, I'd love some prequels when Bella's working for the high powered execs she mentions here... A 1.7 mil car is quite a gift after all. That would be a very interesting story. The pelt is a fabulous idea - I'm sure I mentioned that in my first read-through, but I've gotta say it again. Great way to keep Bella out of Alice's head.

"I'm a married spud" I laughed my ass off here! So great.

I can just picture Emmett having all kinds of, ahem, interesting problems with Izzy gyrating all over the dance floor.

uhmmmm...... i didnt get the epiphany. but really, i never get them unless the story says something like "i had an epiphany. 2+2=4!!" so i may just be mentally slow or something, lolz.

So Izzy's all kinds of hotness and poor Emmett's the one who found her. Makes sense that he'd be the one. He's the only person who would enjoy playing with her as much as she wants. Everyone else would get preachy too quickly, but Em, he's a fun-loving guy. I'm glad you had him find her first. :) So, how many tattoos does Izzy have anyway?

Reviewer: beth cullen (Signed) · Date: July 23, 2009 07:58 AM · On: Chapter 1

So, even though I'm supposed to be working on a paper, I just had to start back over at the beginning. I love how Bella's this complete 180 version from what Emmett's expecting. And Emmett stands in for the reader really well here, expressing surprise and shock at Bella's behavior and attitude. Really well written and absolutely captivating! Badass Bella rocks.

I like the story so far, but this chapter is a diapointment.

Edward assigns equal amounts of blame on both of them and Izzy simply accepts it?

Edward self-rightously decides what is for the best. He basicly dismisses possibility that Bella could possibly understand the danger, he dismisses her feelings as infatuation or whatever and then he doesn't have to the guts to be upfront about his deciscion and his reasoning, but instead stabs right into her believe that she is not nor ever will be good enough for him.

So she didn't fight back right that moment and he vanishes imidiatly afterwards, giving her no chance to fight for him at a later time. So he was hurt that she simply accepted the words of the vampire, who had a century of experience of lying. Big deal.

The fact that the changes wrought in both of them, now open the chance for a more healthy relationship for them, does not change the fact that he is almost solely reposible for the hurt after/ through the break-up on both sides. I can't see how Izzy would accept so much blame so easily for that as she does in this chaper.

Author's Response:

Mmmm I disagree. In Twilight when he said he was leaving she got all worked up and he promised he would stay. He couldn't bare to hurt her. But in NM she didn't even fight. Days after the disaster she didn't even talked to him about it. Just was quiet and unassuming. She was already getting herself ready for him to break it off with her and still she didn't fight. If that was me and I knew my boyfriend was going to be a dick I would make my feelings known. When he did break up with her she once again just accepted it. If you accept that someone doesn't love you in one sentence then you don't deserve them. If she had fought had screamed had acted like her heart was ripping apart he probably couldn't handle it and would have stayed.

And how would you feel if someone just dismissed you...which is what Bella did. The extract from the book goes as this:

Edward: "I don't want you to come with me."

Bella: "You...don'"  (He never said that, she did! Effectively she's helping him break up with her. Another sign that she didn't fight.)

Edward: "No."

Bella:"Well that changes things doesn't it." (She said this in a calm voice)

Bella was a pathetic girl who never deemed herself worthy to anyone. She never let anyone know what she was really feeling which is unfair to every one who had to deal with her. In a way she was a selfish, stupid girl.

Izzy is not accepting the blame for his mistakes only her own. She didn't fight and in a good relationship where your equal (which they were not and never were) regardless on your species you fight for what is good.

Don't think for one minute that I believe that Edward was a true prat for leaving her. But he had six years to wallow in misery with nothing but his thoughts of Bella. Izzy moved on she lived her life and while she still hurt at least she wasn't wallowing...that would be more painful. I think both their hearts broke and they both needed to say I'm sorry to get to some reconcilliation.
