Not hating, but Bella is giving the wonderful double standard to Edward!  Yes, he did not tell her about the event that she witnessed, but Bella is not telling him that she witnessed it either...oh well, maybe Emmett's big mouth can help out in this situation.

Oh, Bella....honey, you need to CHILL!  I know she's gun shy, and Edward has a lot to make up for, but please, give this girl some Zoloft and a glass of merlot and let her poor, weary mind just take a BREAK!!!  How sad that being in love makes her so anxious. :(   Edward just ditched Hozilla - she heard and saw it - that should have made her turn a "my boyfriend is faithful" cartwheel!! Instead, she's all freaked? I'm sure he just didn't want her to feel bad that he was being pursued, knowing that he's flaked on her in the past and she worries about it.  But freaking out all the time WILL end a relationship....but she's never really had one to know that. Oi. I'm just hoping she'll chillax and have some faith, and that you like a HEA ending to this story! :)

For the record, him casting aside Hozilla made me love him even more. Damn you, vile woman!! haha..making me fall in love with a fictional character!! I blame SM - she started it all!!

FYI - if you want to fall head-over-heels in love with a fictional Scotsman, read a book called Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I guarantee it - you will fall in love with Jamie, and shed actual tears that he isn't real. :)

It was an amazing chapter, but Bella needs a wake up call. for serious. This hot and cold game is tiring. Edward told her exactly what she needed to know. It wasn't IMPORTANT. He didn't want Skanky McSkankerson and nothing she said or did was important to him so...ta da. This "Oh, he's going to leave me, I know he will..." drama llama needs to be nipped in the bud...like yesterday.

Well I am still rerading the story and totally enjoying it. I liked this chapter. I liked being able to see the inner termoil that Bella was going through letting Edward in after he has hurt once already. I, too, was left with a lump in my stomach after Edward did not share the fact that he was hit on to Bella. I am sure he thought he was protecting her, however this can only lead to trouble. Great work!!

Just started reading this and I did it all in one sitting!!!  I couldn't stop it was just that wonderful.  I have added it to favorites.  This is in my top 10 favorite fanfics and I am very picky =)

 I don't think there is anything wrong with Edward not telling Bella that the girl propositioned him....I don't think most couples would mention that to one another...There is nothing to tell, and it would just upset the other person and make that person uneccessarily paranoid..

Nope, nothing wrong with Edward not telling her at all, I agree. Bella's insecurities are irrational, yes, but their not unfounded. She's got baggage, and she knows it - she's just trying to figure out how to deal with it. She's getting there, though, I promise! :)

Aww, poor Bella and all her insecurities.  And I'm not hating, I'm trusting.  You've been telling me all along that Edward is going to prove himself and make things up to Bella and I'm falling back on that knowledge.  This was just Bella being Bella.  But, um....yeah....excellent BJ!
