So while I totally understand how Bella thinks the way that she does, knowing how Edward feels (thank god for EPOV) is making me awfully impatient :) Don't get me wrong, the pacing's perfect, but agh! These two are perfect together. Not only do they have such awesome chemistry; even better, they can actually talk to each other. So someone needs to man up soon and say something or I just might go crazy, lol.

I love, love, love this story. I love this girl. You've really nailed the tone of their relationship, everything. It sooooo feels like college, takes me right back. And your Edward gives me butterflies. Nobody's stories give me butterflies!

Could these two be any cuter? Surely Bella can tell that the banter and flirting has escalated beyond the coffeehouse days. Then again, I'm sure she doesn't want to get her hopes up. But, gah! Edward is simply drool worthy and I want him for my own. Mine! :)

Author's Response: That's exactly it with Bella - she may get the occasional feeling that maybe things have changed, but she doesn't want to get her hopes up and then have her little heart broken.
I'd like my Edward for my very own, too. ;-)
Oh, the story just keeps changing in minor ways, nothing major. I have to keep tweaking and re-working the outline to make sure it still works with any new and unplanned developments. All's good, though - it'll work. :)

Oh, I wish one of them would make the "grand gesture"! I can understand Bella's hesitation though. Edward already left her once. She never left him. So, she's afraid that he'll do it again if she puts herself out there. I think the ball is in Edward's court and he needs to man up and take control of the situation.

I am hooked on this story! Thanks for writing it. I can't wait to see how Alice is going to "not meddle". I love her character and something tells me she will find a way to meddle somehow and it is sure to be fun!

*fedexes cookies, chocolates, ice cream and special strawberry pie, and a pitcher of iced lemonade* I had so much fun reading this chapter (up to the part where the Lauren flashback happens yuck that girl is insufferable)
I like the pace the story is moving at...so far so good...seems realistic for things to be happening that way in real life, athough I am a bit anxious to see something meaningful happening between the 2 kids :)

I was ready to be upset if we didn't get a flashback this chapter because i really enjoy them. I'm glad you stuck to that formula. i definitely didn't mind hearing both POVs in one chapter, though. Can't wait for more!

It's a lot of love, thank you. But not sure I'll be able to get Ch 8 done before the weekend (unless I manage to hammer out the rest of it tonight). I've been getting most of my writing done at work lately, because I'm in a quiet period, but one of my projects launches Monday, so tomorrow will either be insane getting prepared, or bored to tears while I hurry up and wait. But I do promise to update as soon as I can. :)
