I think Bella's being unreasonable. She should at least listen to what Edward has to say, even if he was a jerk before. Good job--if you can make a reader feel emotion, you've done your job! lol. :)

Why wouldn't Bella go to planned parenthood and take the morning after pill if there was even a small chance of her being pregnant? I can somewhat understand where she's comming from but, she needs to grow up. Ya there are hormones flying around and the whole situation is sh*tty at best, but wallowing and yelling is not going to get her anywhere. Edward is definetly an ass and Carlisle needs to step back from the situation. Granted he is engaged to Esme, but this is the first time he has even met Bella. How can he expect her to automatically love and repect him? Esme should have been honest from the get go about what has been happening, and step up as a parent. Hopefully things will progess from here.
Author's Response: well, bella is a bit...naive, so she wouldn't know about planned parenthood, and all that. and bella gets pretty mad at edward, esme, and carlisle, for all of the reasons you wrote above.

All right. I decided to give this story a chance, but not to be mean or anything, but it's not worth reading if you skip over all the parts that would make this story worth an NC-17 rating. You are obviously young and innocent and have good morals (which by the way, I think is fantastic...don't change and don't ever let yourself get pressured into anything...wow I sound all preach-y and a lot older than the 23 i will be in exactly 41 minutes), and you just cannot write this kind of story. Don't get me wrong, I don't have the writing skills to write good fanfiction either.
If you wanted to try to improve, I would start with the party scene where Bella gets date-raped by Edward (which being Edward's biggest fan, I'm not really to fond of). Bella would be far more devastated the next morning when she figures out what happened (speaking from experience here), and Edward would need to go to jail because that is rape. So the rest of the story (where they fall in love etc.) just falls apart from there. I would really try to make the sex be consentual. Bella could be tipsy and thus make different decisions than she normally does, but the decision needs to be there for her to make. Edward raping Bella is really no good.
I'm really not trying to be mean. Those are just my honest thoughts, and I always appreciate honesty in my own life.
Author's Response: i personally wouldnt have gone with the nc-17 either, but teen drinking and all, so i was all paranoid, and there is a reason for the rape, and edward could go to jail, but bella's not that kind of person, so she wouldn't send him to jail. anyways, thank you for your suggestions, and i will definitely consider them when i am done with the story, and editing the entire thing!! oh, and happy birthday!!

Wow... Bella is getting so cruel...! I mean, of course I totally get why she's so upset about everything, but the way she's messing things up even further by talking to Edward (and the rest of her family) in such a mean way, is just stupid!! In her situation she needs help and someone by her side, obviously. But she's refusing it and pushing everyone away, especially Edward. He seems to be nicer than everyone reading the first seven chapters might have thought and he doesn't seem to be cold in any way towards Bella... so I think he'd accept the responsibility and be there for her now - if only she'd let him.
Anyway, I really like you're story and can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: well, you have to understand how she's feeling...she finally gets her first kiss, but it causes her first child. she's not married, she's still in high school, if it was me, i'd be bitter too...lol...look at me going all psych...lol...i'll stop now...hehehe

Great chapter. Wow. Bella is mean, but I understand why she's acting like that. From the parents viewpoint she looks like she isn't happy about them, but still. Don't get on her bad side. I hope that she tells her mother and future stepfather that she's knocked up with Edward's baby. I wonder how that will go over.....

Oh dear.....someone is a tad hormonal..... I must admit that I am distressed at Edward's lack of response to this bombshell. Shouldn't he be high tailing it back to Tanya? I think it will be interesting to see how he reacts as the baby begins to grow and he sees the changes in her body. I really hope there is a HEA in this story because it would be so heartmelting. Aww, poor Bella. Hopefully she'll calm down and at least *talk* to Edward at some point! But I can certainly understand her ire...
Are we going to find out what really happened that night at the party? Bella doesn't really remember anything since she was drunk and Edward doesn't seem to care that he took advantage of her without her knowledge, so it *seems* like she was okay with it at the time? Or is this Edward really a complete douche?
