WOW, thanks for another excellent chapter

We lost our dog this summer too.  He was hit by a car almost in front of our house.  It was horrible.  My thoughts are with you.

I have loved this story.  I can't wait for Jasper to go on with finding Bella.  I am only hoping that Garrett isn't a love of Bella's.  I am hoping that he is Bella's "Jacob" in your story.  I have been reading so frantically that now I need to go back and comment and rate.  I didn't even want to wait for the page to load!!!

I can't begin to tell you how many people have told me they recently lost their dogs.  It's heartbreaking to here!  I am sorry for your loss.  It really does leave a giant hole.  It was someone I talked everyday... just absent-mindedly.

 

ANother update tonight!  We get a little more info about Maria's world, and maybe a little appearance by the girl we've been waiting for!

Wow.  Awesome f-ing story that I just read from start to finish.  Thank you, Twigasm podcast, for rec'ing it.  Can't wait to see Jasper tell it!

I also love how everyone is freaking out about certain things in this last chapter and I get to sit back and smirk cause I know what's coming up. So keep spilling those plot points. I love it.

Oh and serious business time... I know you were stressing with the JPOV but no need to. You got it across perfectly, and furthermore, it was not a reiteration of EPOV. It felt distinct and very much like Jasper.

MALACHY! MALACHY!  You know... when I was 12 & my sister was 14, my parents decided we were old enough to stay by ourselves overnight.  We were allowed a friend each (not sure who's parents would let that happen) and we were allowed to pick out a movie.  Little did they know, my sister's friend brought Children of the Corn (on VHS of course.)  We watched it, and scared ourselves shitless that we SWEAR we saw a ghost in the house.  We lived in one of those really old brick farmhouses, built in the 1800's.  And we saw a headless man, with a blue orb on his head walk down the stairs and out the front door. 

Naturally, we freaked and ran out of the house.  No one would go inside, and had to go to the neighbours to call my friend's parents to come get us.  It was a disaster.  And, man, did we get punished!  Neither of our friends would ever come to the house again.  I have not watched Children of the Corn since then.  And when I used to ride my bike past corn fields I would hyper-ventilate.

Hmm... maybe it really is rooted deep in my brain.  Oh the trauma!  And now I am working through it with Emilia.

This story just keeps getting better and better.  And it looks like we will imminently meet Bella again.  Of course, it sounds very much like she is going to be very damaged, mentally, emotionally & spiritually, if not physically.  It also looks like there may be some kind of romantic attachment between Garrett and Bella, which is going to be an added complication and heartache for Edward - who she must blame for her current situation.  If he hadn't left her she might have persuaded him to change her and she would then have been safe with the Cullens in the north instead of vulnerable in Phoenix.  I'm guessing the angst is going to get ramped up even more.  And Maria is terrifying!

Epic chapter!  You KNOW we are all waiting with baited breath to get to the next chapter!  But we'll wait as long as you need us to!  Freaking LOVED it as always.  Can't wait to read Jasper's reaction to finally having his suspicion confirmed, and what he has to do to get them outta there.  Will we know what Bella's backstory is?

We will know about Bella, but she will tell it.  This is still E's story and all the stuff in the present will stay from his POV, but the past bits will be stories told by different people.  Thank you for your support!  xoxoxo Means a lot more than you know.
