Jesus H, do you know how to wring a person out. I haven't been this emotionally exhausted by fiction since I watched The Green Mile.

God, Bella is such a hypocrite to expect Edward to take away those people's choices! I just want to smack her around.
I'm surprised with all this strategizing that no one has thought of turning some of the humans at the compound so they'll have their own newborns. If it's a suicide mission anyway, why not?

More pettiness and arrogance from the wolves. If I were a Cullen I'd have slaughtered them all.

It's so damned delightful that it's Carlisle's fault that the world ends. It tickles my evil funny bone.

Yeah, Billy Burke is all kinds of yummy. He and Carlisle totally make the movies worthwhile...cougar is not a good look on me. :p

Awesome ending. Love the name and the two people who made it into the settlement.
Great job, good writing.

Great fight scene. I loved Marcus's part.I don't understand what happened to Garrette and Bella was very stupid and rushed into thing. She was not smart, and that gets people killed in battle.

Excellent chapter with the interaction between the Quiliutes and Cullins

Author's Response: Helloooo!
And I remember you from the start too. You helped me with my 'Porsche 911' verbage! I will never forget that, and I thank you!
A long three years. I'm glad I didn't disappoint. Thank you for sticking it out with me. Happy holidays to you!

I don't usually read fanfics more than once. Why would I when there are so many more to read? I also don't usually think about any particular fanfic for days after I finish reading it. I don't stay up past 1:00 in the morning reading fanfics because my workday starts at 6 am. I don't break out in tears when I read fanfics either. I don't do any of those things, so I wanted to let you know that some stranger must have possessed me a little when I started reading The Fallout. What a pleasant surprise. She broke all my rules but I like her anyway. She has exceptional taste in fiction.
Thank you SOOOOOO much for giving me (and her) the chance to enjoy all of your hard work, imagination, and the love you so obviously put into your work. I only wish you would write more. You are so amazingly talented. I'm so glad I didn't discover this story until it was complete. I would have lost a lot more sleep otherwise!

I'm humbled and honored to be acknowledged in your a/n. (Jill here, minor name change following some walls dropping btn ficlife & RL) And now I'm even more ashamed for just now reading the end of this incredibly intricate, thoughtful and emotional story you've crafted.
I'm sooooo happy that Abigail & Christopher made it! I had hoped they would ever since Jasper met them, and twisting in Alice's "you've kept us waiting," line was excellent.
It's cute to see Leah playful with Jasper. :-)
The growth in Edward throughout this story has really been a pleasure to read. In a way, I think that Carlisle's death was necessary in order for him to fully achieve his potential as a leader and a man. And not just simply to fill that vacancy, but he needed to hear those last words to finally get it. Like he finally believed everything that Carlisle has ever told him.
Congrats on hitting the complete button!! Sorry this is terribly belated!

Very moving. From Carlisle's final words to Edward's pleas to Bella to Esme's strength and Bella's speech upon returning the wall necklace. Beautiful. Turns out I was way more prepared for Carlisle's death than Charlie's. Maybe it was because Edward was right there with Charlie and visually witnessed it, whereas with Carlisle, he disappeared before he actually died. But I didn't even tear up for Carlisle. Bad me.
I'm excited for the rebuild and the possibility of everyone living united. The protectors of all Forks descendants.
Well, until that fucker Aro shows up. Rat Bastard.

I'm FINALLY reading the last few chapters. I was on vacation when you finished and wanted to wait until I got home and then it just got away from me.
I'm a sobbing mess. I was prepared for Charlie to die, but it's still rough. I'm glad he got to have some final words with Edward.
Bella is downright pissing me off right now. I get that Maria is a huge bitch and needs to be put down, not just for past crimes but for what she's capable of doing if she escapes. BUT she needs to step up and put a stop to all the fighting to save everyone else NOW. Without Emilia to protect her, Maria will be easier to defeat the next time.
I hope we get a little JorAPOV on how that battle went down. I'm sure it was quite satisfying. Like maybe they wrapped a ribbon around her neck to squeeze her head off.
I like Marcus. I'm glad he showed up to help. If he is in fact being honest about why he's there, but I'm inclined to trust him.

Oh my god. Words cannot describe this story. I was hesitant to read it but was immediately sucked in. It is probably the best written piece of work I've read. Everything about it was amazing. All the details and the personal horrors were just too much. It made it real. Amazing.

OH. WOW! I loved your A/N there at the end. I only wish I had been there for the starting of it. However, I would have quickly started to drink straight liquor each time a chapter ended, just to deaden the pain of waiting for the next chapter. Remember, I told you I started a new job and your story was more important than that job. I can go to work in piece now.
Sigh, thank you so much for this mind blowing story. I throughly enjoyed it and wish you all the best with the next one. You are an amazing writer and hope one day I see you out on the New York Times Best Seller list!
God speed!

WOOOWWWWWW! that was really really intense. I was zooming through the paragraphs so fast because I wanted to get to the climax. I think I skipped a lot of the words just to see what Bella did. So she didn't take out Aro or Caius or Demetri.... Interesting....

So much hope. I hope they get married before the new war starts.
I love your story and I am so addicted. I don't know if I told you that I found this story and got a new job at the same time. All I can think about all day at work is to get back to this story. The day is very very long. :)
