Great way of capturing Bella's thoughts.
Author's Response: Thank you! I hope you continue to like it!

Hm, interesting twist! Why did Edward disappear before he had a chance to "smell" Bella. Did Alice have a vision of some sort? Can't wait for more :)
Author's Response: Even after reading Midnight Sun, I never really bought into the idea of Alice not seeing something to prevent what happened in Biology class. In my mind, Alice's gift makes her naturally curious about people. She would have seen the new girl coming. I planned on explaining this in a future chapter -- but it's not much of a spoiler. Alice had the vision at the lunch table, and Edward saw everything as it was happening. Although not nearly as strong as it would have been had he smelled Bella himself, he knew from the vision how much he wanted Bella. In a future chapter, Bella and Edward will talk about why he left, and what he did during that month he was gone. Hope that clears it up!

Oh goodie! I so want some Edward/Bella interaction!
That was a great second chapter. I feel so bad for Bella. I mean, it would be really hard to start a new life somewhere after something so hard happened. She's stong, though, and I love that.
Update soon please :)
Author's Response: Bella is dealing with things the best way she can. I agree -- I think Bella is a tough cookie. Chapter 3 is almost done, and I'll be updating very soon!

I like the way you've started the story...Is this going to be an Edward/Bella revolved story? I don't really like reading anything else and your story sounds promising, so I hope it is :)
Very good detail! I always have liked that kind of thing.
Author's Response: I have always been Team Edward. This is most definitely an Edward/Bella story. I don't want to give anything away, but please be at ease -- I do not believe the only way to demonstrate an eternal love is to push one of the characters into another's waiting arms -- no matter how brief that period is.

Author's Response: Chapter 2 is in the works. I promise to not abandon this story. You have my word, which is as strong as Edward's skin :)
