I read and enjoyed your story.  I wonder however, why there isn't a rape warning.  As a victim myself, it was a very unpleasant surprise to come across this theme without warning.

If he thinks she is somehow still alive, why is he a broken man?  How did she die?  I guess I will read on and see where you are going with this.  I did enjoy it!

Okay.  I've been reading this story for awhile.  I don't mean to flame here, so please don't take it as such.  However, I began reading this because of your summary.  I was anticipating a story with Edward in it, helping Hermione cope.  Now, maybe "Ben" is supposed to be Edward.  I've not gathered that by *any means*, though.  So, here I am, finished with Chapter 17, and still no Edward.

I know you may not care at this point if I keep reading or not, but just so you know, I will.  I'm curious, but thus far disappointed.  It's a lovely story, actually.  I just wish you wouldn't have promised Edward and then went (thus far) seventeen chapters without him.  And I'm not sure why it's on Twilighted under the Crossover category.  Please forgive me if I've hurt your feelings or angered you.  It wasn't my intention.  I'd just like some clarification, maybe?

I thoroughly appreciate your review!  The background on this story is that it was strictly a Harry Potter Universe story to start with (with the focus on Ron and Hermione, of course!)  During the year it took me to write this tale, I read the book "Twilight," and of course fell in love with Edward.  The man haunted me with his beauty and perfection - I knew I had to incorporate him into my own story, "The Diary of Jane."  I had already had many chapters done and published before Edward even makes his appearance (as you have found out by finishing Chapter 17 already with no Edward in sight!)  I promise when he does make his presence known, it will be intriguing (as we all know Edward is!)  Hopefully, it will end up being worth your wait!  And no worries, DeeMichelle - you have in no way hurt my feelings or angered me!  I will always be grateful for reviews - it means a lot to me that my readers take the time to let me know how I am doing!  On that note, I look forward to hearing what you think after this story becomes a true crossover for you! (Which you are close - Edward makes that appearance in Chapter 20 through Chapter 30!)  Thanks again for reading and for your review!  I do greatly appreciate it!
