W-O-W. Bella's sure been given a difficult hand, hasn't she? I enjoyed hearing her story. I'm very glad you named her little boy Charlie. :) Are Charlie and Renee both ignoring Bella? That's terrible.
I'm not normally a Jacob hater, but in this story he just seems bad, bad, bad. What a terrible thing to do to your wife and son.
Also, I'm curious to see how Alice fits into all this...does Alice know Jasper and/or Edward? Hmmm...I suppose I shall have to wait and see!
Also, hooray for unsung heroines like Sue Clearwater. :) Her quiet kindness is quite a blessing.
I could see Bella's strength. She really perserveres, doesn't she? I hope this job works out for her...I'm excited to go read the next chapter and see where it goes!

Wonderful beginning! I'm very impressed. It's very original and I'm greatly enjoying Edward's character. I also think it's cute how uncertain he is. This chapter made me smile fondly and laugh quite a few times. :) I love stories like that.
I'm excited to see more of Bella. I also enjoyed the parts about Emmett, Jasper, and Ms. Cope. I like how they look after Edward. I'm excited to see more of these characters...which is why I'm heading off to read the next chapter! :)

I wanted to give this Edward of yours a nickname like the famous Domward or maybe Robert Pattinson's Robward or Emoward - you know, something clever. So I thought of Awkward Edward - but then I got sad, but that would just be... Awk..ward. Which is already a word. Which is also irrelevant to this beautiful, unique, captivating story you've created.

It's very weird inside my mind and once you get past the red twisty slide and the vats of chocolate marshmallow fluff the weird clowns live there and then it gets really weird.
